Fear

My question is: Why do we Fear something or someone? Also, how can we as servants of SatGuru be Free of Fear!?

As Gurbani says in 21st pauri of Sukhmani sahib GOD preceeds everything. But GOD wanted to know itself in experience. So it manifested physical creation. The physical realm which we are in has two major forces. Love and Fear. Love is real , fear is an illusion. We have a choice what we want to create in our experience. Fear is an energy ,just as everything else is thoughts, words etc. Whe we resist fear/thoughts we give them energy, the seem to stay put. They show up again with more energy, we resist more and the cycle continues. After enough times it manifests part of ones reality(we experience it). Since fear is an illusion , we have a choice of not resisting when it shows up ,knowing that its an illusion and after a while it loses its hold on us. What we resist persists.
