Discover Sikhism http://www.discoversikhism.com is a non-profit (and strictly no collection of money/ no adverts) website which has only recently started.

Please support our efforts by making people aware of Discover Sikhism and by asking your friends and family to visit.

We hope the Sri Harmandir Sahib Daily Hukumnama, Live Kirtan and other pages/ general information is useful.

Our humble aim is to raise Sikh awareness and let people (Sikh and non Sikh) discover the Sikhs and their Gurus; the Gurus teachings, the sacrifices they made, their fight for freedom, their fight against inequality and injustice, the persecution they faced, and still face, from musalmaan (muslims) and hindus, and the Gurus teachings on leading a charitable and honest life.

We are not sponsored by any organisation or group (except hopefull Akal Purakh). We use no adverts and require no donations.

We have released a free online library, which is easily accessible, readable and searchable.

The sections are split as follows -

Gurbani (to be expanded in future)

Gurmat Parkash (Sri Harmandir Sahib booklet in Gurmukhi - updated monthly)

Gurmukhi/ Punjabi (to be expanded in future - we have many hundreds of books/ articles to upload)

English

Other Languages (including many European)

Sanskrit/ Devanagri (to be expanded in future)

There are some excellent books and articles for ALL.

We have further updated our online Sikh Library with hundreds of Gurbani, Sri Harmandir Sahib Monthly Gurmat Parkash and English books and articles.

Although we have many, many fine items, our most notable is an extremely rare Puratan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Saroop from 1714.

Since we started the library, there has been huge interest. We have had many enquiries from Hindi speakers wanting to learn more about Sikhi, some want to be Sikh, so have released a Sikh devanagari library with hundreds of books.
