Why Can't Female Sikhs Wear Turban Styles That Sikh Males Wear?

I notice that Sikh women and girls wear turbans in a distinctive style then Sikh Men. How come most Sikh women won't wear turban styles that the overwhelming majority of Sikh men wear?

Sikhi isn't against being a male and female. There is a difference and this hippy feminism stuff destroys basic gender rolls constricted by biology. Generally speaking nok dastar and whatnot seem more masculine, but a bibi can wear a dastar just as a male.

In India in taksal many bibi wear and have worn chunni instead of dastar.

I believe it is all about style, ex. women like pink color but majority men will never wear anything pink. Women salwar kammeez is similar to male kurta pajama, so imagine Singh wearing flowery kurta pajama... I know u won't see that.. So in the end it's more culture influence over turban style based on gender. Plus nok (triangle) paag is maharaja sher singh's invention in 1800's.

The style tied by men is generally looked as the more masculine of sorts. This probably has to do with Indian history as if you look at old pictures of Indian men they all tied turbans and those turban styles from late 1800`s -1900's looked somewhat similar to the current style worn by sikh men (nok style).

But generally speaking a dumallah tied by men & women looks very similar though. And I don't believe i've seen too many non sikhs of old times with a dumallah, so that style has probably always been associated with Khalsa, instead of a specific gender like nok/tikkhi style turban.
