"It's not about counting rhetorical devices"...(Jagraj Singh)

Debate over.

Seriously, what was he going on about? 10 words prove it's God's work? What?

The thing that proves Sikhi is the best is how it doesn't need to prove it is the light for the world. It doesn't need to claim that it will save mankind. One just has to read a few angs of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and they will realise this treasure is here for the whole world, "Jagat Guru".

Gurmukh'o

Who cares what they say or who they say it to??

Please watch the video as a tool to learn Gursikh values in a debate, rather than an attack manual or an arms cache for petty point scoring against hapless muslims.

Even if you win and destroy their arguments, what have you actually achieved??

And yes i know and understand that its not my place to make such requests, but it just seems logical as per my understanding of Gursikh Jivani.

The clear winner is Sri Waheguru Maharaj who allowed Bhai Jugraj Singh the gift of comprehension.

The average IQ level of his subscribers seems to be 70 or at best 80.

The clear winner is Bhai Jagraj Singh, they use fundamentalism and blind faith and parrot science, reason and logic without knowing what they're parroting. A third party non-Sikh and non-Musli will declare Bhai Jagraj Singh as the most logical and have won the debate.

These guys can parrot their crap in countries like UK and Canada where blind political correctness has infected society and a lot of Sikhs, but here in USA they won't be able to go around parring non-sense like this.

Sadly the Dawahman edited the video to hide his confused, defeated and humbled facial expressions from his subscribers. This is very dishonest of him yet he talks, walks and acts like a man of Allah on a mission to spread his Deen.

He clearly lost the debate. Originally he called to make this meeting in a 5 minute encounter where he probably thought he would finish off Jagraj Singh Jee. But when he realized Jagraj Singh is something else, the debate went on for 1 hour in which Jagraj Singh totally dominated the debate. The only point Dawah Man was stuck on was the 10 word miracle because he knew he had nothing else to show the greatness of Islam over Sikhi and even that 10 word miracle is nothing compared to the miracles that occurred through Guru Jee.

At University last year we had a table during Sikh awareness month to bring awareness to our identity - was followed right after the Oak Creak incident. A Catholic came up and we started to talk and he asked a few loaded questions, but we discussed for a good 40 minutes. In the end he started to respect our beliefs and I told him how we're different from even Abrahamic religions in general.

Another time I was walking on campus to the library and these Christian preachers who kept saying (repent you will go to hell and whatnot) approached me and a friend who is also a Singh. They stopped us and they had their usual rhetoric, we discussed and refuted all his points. It was interesting because a crowd started to form around us to listen. Moral of stories are know about other religions just so you can defend your own beliefs, because if you can't defend your beliefs you have no right to believe in them.

Bhai Jagraj Singh did an amazing job, especially considering he wasn't expecting this.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

So, the guy's point was that he can verify the rhetorical devices in his religion? Great, are these the same rhetorical devices that allow for lying and deception.

Far too often the musalmaan is more concerned with his ordained mission of winning the debate than in respecting the dignity of the opposition partner in the match-up. That type of tactic is important to Muslims, and is not considered unfair. In fact, winning dishonestly is a categorical moral imperative. This was displayed by approaching Bhaji with a pre-rehearsed argument (which he kept repeating).

One should always be very cautious and careful regarding debating musalmaan, as many see no problem using lies and deception on those occasions. Often, they do not understand dialogue and debate meetings as an open and honest exchange of convictions, but it is part of the Islamic war against unbelievers in another form, and "war is deceit" as Muhammad said.

‘Let not the believers take the disbelievers as ‘Awliyaa' (supporters, helpers) instead of the believers, and whoever does that, will never be helped by Allaah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them" [Q. 3:28].

A verse warning muslims to refrain from taking non-muslims as friends is to illustrate the mandate that muslims are under which demands from them to associate with non-muslims only for a very specific purpose, which is to lead the ‘infidel’ into the ‘house of islam’, chattel slavery, or death.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
