Singhs who went to give clothes for Bhai Sahib were not allowed to talk much with Bhai Sahib but Bhai sahib has said He will remain firm on his Ardas with Guru Kirpa.

He has asked Panth to unite, keep reading Baani and do Ardas and continue the Morcha outside.

ਜਦੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਦਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਧਿਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਵੀਰ ਗੁਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਦਿਲੀ ਜ਼ਜ਼ਬੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੋਣਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਜ਼ਬਾਤੀ ਸਿਖ ਹੈ-ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਓਸ ਵੀਰ ਨੇ 'ਜੀਵਤ ਕਈ ਹਜਾਰ' ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ-ਹੁਣ ਜੇਲ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਏਧਰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਅੰਬ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੈ ਭਾਈ ਦਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਭੂਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ-

UPDATE SOPW:

Firstly, we would like to update you on the latest news regarding Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Ji. His family have been to visit him in Ropar Jail and have taken him the basic necessities, such as a change of clothes, etc. Bhai Sahib has confirmed he is still on hunger strike and will continue with his protest, even in jail.

The authorities have craftily charged Bhai Sahib under Section 107 (Abetment) and 151 (Unlawful Assembly) of the Indian Penal code and not suicide charges. The plan behind this is that suicide cases appear before a judge, who you would hope makes a decision based on the rule of law, and bail out is easily achievable, which would result in Bhai Sahib immediately resuming his position at the hunger strike. However, the case that Bhai Sahib has been charged with, will go before the SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate) who has the power to bail. The SDM reports to the State Government and any decisions will be taken accordingly. This way, it works in the favour of the Punjab Government. Amar Singh Chahal – a well renowned senior advocate, has been appointed as Bhai Gurbaksh Singh’s lawyer.

Secondly, we confirm that the ‘Death or Justice’ hunger strike at Amb Sahib Gurdwara Mohali, continues the same. As soon as Bhai Gurbaksh Singh was removed, 5 Gursikhs (including one Bibi) sat in his place for 24 hours to give the Sangat time to gather before a further decision could be taken. Today, there has been a very large gathering of Sangat and Sikh organisations from all around Punjab and they have unanimously condemned the actions of the State Authorities and are shocked at the manner in which they operate.

Those Jathebandia that had gathered, all endorsed Bhai Damandeep Singh Khalsa (in photo) who has expressed his desire to take Bhai Sahib’s place and starting with immediate effect, Bhai Damandeep Singh is now at Amb Sahib Mohali vowing to continue the hunger strike til death, unless the Singhs in prison are released. It has been agreed that each Jathebandi or Sant Samaj will send a delegation of 100 of it’s members on a rota basis, who will stay with Bhai Damandeep Singh for 24 hours from 12 noon.
