Back in the 80s when Singhs took up arms to fight for freedom, Indian media, government and all other tout agencies had a bright opportunity to tell mislead the world about Sikhs and brand them as violent separatists, lawless community, cruel terrorists, religious extremists and what not. Today we have candle light marches, protests, bandhs, hunger strikes to get justice. Do you know why? All the Sikhs who are taking these steps know very well that there will be no outcome, yet they go ahead and do it. Do you know why?

So that tomorrow when the Singhs pick up arms once again to get justice, then no so-called human rights activist or self-proclaimed journalist will dare to raise the question "Why wasn't a peaceful settlement attempted?" All this oppression which the Sikh community is facing now inspite of non-violent protests and struggles will be evidence that we did give peace every possible chance, we went to the limit of abiding by peace, and yet achieved nothing but the same brutality. And that day, the Khalsa Panth will begin a new wave of struggle which will justify the words of Dasmesh Pita ji: ਚੁ ਕਾਰ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਹ ਹੀਲਤੇ ਦਰ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ॥ ਹਲਾਲ ਅਸਤ ਬੁਰਦਨ ਬ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੀਰ ਦਸਤ ॥ When all peaceful ways to resolve a conflict have failed, it is then justified to unsheath the sword.

Important benti to Western Sangat.
It is being said that Morcha has hit a road block and there is no media coverage, and due to this reason, majority of Punjabis dont know about Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa and their Hunger Strike.

So here is the solution --
Western Jathebandis and Individuals (who are capable) MUST give out FULL PAGE ADVERTS in PUNJABI, HINDI and ENGLISH newspapers in Punjab and India, detailing Sangharsh of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Ji, and telling people why a Human being is starving himself from last 30 days.
We have FSO in UK, Gurudwara Committees in UK , Canada, USA who can do it. We have well-t0-do Individuals who can buy a whole page and tell people about Bhai Sahib.

(Not all Sikhs are on FB or twitter etc, and not ALL TV channels are covering the protest, but Newspapers reach even remote areas.)

Second, Western Jathebandis and Leaders should call their Punjab counterparts, and ask them to WAKE UP and MOVE ... and do something.
Please ask PUNJAB LEADERS whom you send money and support on TV channels and during their visits to West -- To get their parties/dals/organizations to move and work on ground.
Please ask them to send their volunteers in Villages, paste Bhai Sahib's posters, do announcements in Gurudwaras and talk to Panchayats and get Sangat to Amb Sahib Gurudwara.

THESE 2 SUGGESTIONS will work if someone comes forward to implement them.

The organisations supporting Bhai Sahib should be listed and congratulated. Those that are not supporting fully should also be listed and requested to help. Today at Anandpur Sahib did the Nihangs come out in force and give Bhai Sahib protection and go back to Chandigarh with him?
