A Very Bitter Truth That Needs To Be Expressed

The same Sant did a lot to help these "dhotiwaale, topiwaale, cow worshippers" as compared to whoever claimed to be their leader back then. You heard these phrases but chose to filter out the other things that were done FOR the same people?

So what do I do then?

I am pretty sure you don't know me that well, because I am not (a.) 18 years old, or (b.) sitting in my mom's basement or (c.) singing Khalistani songs. You're messing with the wrong guy here, someone you don't know and ofcourse wouldn't want to know either. No one's intention is to perturb any supposedly "major" civilization, because in this day and age of the world being a "global village", the concept of "civilizations" is different the way it is in history text books. And in case you're unaware, we do have Sikhs from Muslim/Jewish/Christian/Hindu/Chinese backgrounds/ancestry, making Sikhi compatible across the board.

Sorry, Guru Sahib made Sikhs to stand out, so you may choose to speak for yourself. If the major civilizations tomorrow decide that everyone is to look the same, i.e. Sikhs have to abandon their Sikhi saroop, then you might be surprised to know how many Sikhs choose NOT to go along, and yes, that does include me.

Go ahead and make the call then. Do you have the number?

The world may be a global village with the biggest most powerful homes (s) being owned by the big boys. Everybody else join up or get trampled. Makes me wonder sometimes especially watching the arrest of this indian diplomat - within days the americans had arrested an alleged khalistani in california to make it up to the indians. It shows me that smaller kaums have no real say or at least limited say. Their interests go down the drain or are used as bargaining chips in the wider game played by the big boys.

Anycase...

BTW, I highly doubt the major civilizations of the world - muslim, jewish, christian, hindu and chinese are going to be perturbed by some 18 year old sitting in his moms basement singing khalistani songs. The major civilizations of the world decide the direction of this planet everybody else just goes along including yourself. Your house of cards can be dropped by a single phone call.

What does khalistan have to do with anything here on this topic?

Akaal Purakh decides the Direction of the Planet.

What do you mean by house of cards?

The "Qoum" of Humanity is destined to be touched by the footdust of Guru Nanak Dev Jis Asul! .Dharam is starting to spread outside our own communities.

Service, congregation, Fraternity belonging.

Narrow Nationalist calls are fading.

Our Fairer gender ( women) in different corners of the earth are empowering themselves even standing up defieing conventional stereotypes refusing to cave into Media pressure from ELites.

Humanity is starting to send a message out in its own way.

India doesn't even count in the third word countries. Maybe sixth world. And this guy is thinking India counts. It will be fine If it was April fools day. I am amazed that he think that anybody care about the s@@@ hole called India.

Let India try to arrest some US diplomat and then you will know how much India counts or even any US citizen.

Is that why posters like yourself always talk about india in 90% of your posts? But I suppose having even a <banned word filter activated> hole is better than having nothing. No?

As for those quoting 16th century battles please come into the 21st century. Its fine respecting your warriors but I see that just like the moslems you are consumed by them. So much that you have forgotten to develop other institutions.

The true warriors of the 21st century are the political scientists, nobel peace prize winners, economic reformers, mathematicians etc..anything?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
