X2 Taksal Shops In Amritsar ?

Gurfeteh Jee.im tryibg to work at the two taksali shops in amritsar.

There is 1 up the stairs and another in the shopping mall.

Which is the one they call shop 31 (cutti number)

No. 31 was opposite Ghanta Ghar entrance. Since the ghalliara project I would probably imagine that it could have been shifted. The other taksali shop is the original one set up by the Chowk Mehta Taksalis. That one is in Brahm Buta Mandi.

I have been to both taksali shop, if they know you're a from abroad. They try to rip you more.

Shop number 31 is dhumma owned .

31 no. is the oldest shop and they have more stuff than the other one. ( sarbloh shasters and other stuff). 31 no. is not dhumma owned, its is operated by ajnala jatha ( bhai amrik singh) as u can see all the gutka sahib they sell has written sant jarnail singh ji as mukhi of taksal. the other one is dhumma owned. though 31 no. is no more 31 no. now as the numbers have changed. it is in the shopping complex. but dont let them know u are from abroad. they tend to raise their prices if they come to know. but 31 no. rate is reasonable than most other taksal shops. if u are just looking to buy sri sahibs, go to bhinder kalan instead coz taksali sri sahibs are made there and then delivered to different locations.

Where is this shopping complex everybody is talking about?

Circle icon near water tank is official mehta chowk <dumma> taksal shop. Square one is independent owned but still a famous taksal shop and this is the shopping complex everybody here is talking about. It is in front of Jora Ghar and on top of scooter/cycle underground parking lot. I visit both of them whenever i visit punjab.
