I think what he did was the opposite of what that fool on the dating show last year did. He upped the profile of Sikhs among the general public and he came across as a humble and spiritual man. I am sure the money won't change him and for the millions watching the show for the last few weeks that he was on he has given Sikhs a positive image. Congratulations to him on winning the top prize on that show.

Yea totally agree, shame people dont shun Bhangra artists for their antics, but quick enough to shun someone like Roop Singh

Depends on ones state of mind. If he ended up being overtly impacted by the winnings and he became emotionally attached to winning money, then it is for sure a negative. Although listening to their talks when I was at Uni, I'm pretty confident they wont end up as a social wreck. Even on the show, Singh Ji did not look too disturbed when he had a choice of taking £500 or £250,000. Moreover they did not spend money to make money..
