Baana Or Graduation Gown

Got graduation ceremony....sangat jee...it wud b gr8 to wear a baana with kesri dastaar mayb with gown on top. Is this ok? is it ok to wear gown like this?

Any suggestions what to wear khalsajee?

Of course it is ok to wear a gown. Why wouldn't it be?

The mortarboard is obviously not required as you have a dastar.

I think a bana with a gown will look great

Do not wear a gown over the Bana. That would be disrespecting the Khalsa uniform. Wear the gown without the Bana underneath. You would not put a hat or the hat which comes with the gown over your dastar. Same applies to the Bana and a gown.

Go with what your heart tells you, what you feel most comfortable in.

Gown over BaNa sounds wicked and, in my humble opinion, would not disrespect the Khalsa uniform. Only a person wearing BaNa with ManMaat actions, thoughts and words can.

Don't over think it.
