VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

http://gurmatbibek.com/forum/read.php?3,31098

Anyone in India or wherever with any information on this? If this is true, this is THE BIGGEST find and MUST be preserved, digitized and preserved with the utmost of preserverence and will put to end some controversies in the Panth (potentially Raagmalaa and maybe Mool Mantar length??? based on the picture posted) before it somehow becomes lost.

I cannot stress how important this is to the Panth as a whole.

Nothing its going to change, people who beleive in ragmalla and mool mantra length up to nanak hosi bhi sach- will keep doing so and people who don't believe in it will not believe it regardless as both parties use these topics/gurbani to debate, ego flame wars, to feed more to jatha tribal attachment, scoring points- create tribal wars in between than use gurbani for genuine spiritual development/growth and upliftment purposes....both tribal parties have already lost the plot and lost essence of gurbani message as they have wrapped their head around semantics over it and wrapped their head around conceptual/abstract arguments instead of having gurbani in their experience it looks like they rather play scoring games/semantics with gurbani...!!

I managed to provide different learning perspective regarding mool mantra length- those who are interested in meditation on mool mantra not empty shallow conceptual argument..here is the link-

VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

So...no interest in discovering if this truly is THE FIRST Saroop of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and preserving it???

Why worry? Gurbani is eternal..relax singh sahib...aad sach jugad sach hai bhi sach nanak hosi bhi sach gurbani isn't going anywhere.

Agreed. But this is our heritage. Do you not have pride/love for your history?

In order to walk, we must put 1 foot forward but the other remains behind. Without our heritage, there is no moving forward. Conservation of our heritage is something we have little understanding of in our community. We need to wake up at some point

Sorry bro ..i agree with conservation aspect but my previous post talking about ideal op optimistic nature this revelation bir will solve debates in the panth..all though i really wish so but its highly unlikely- humans will be always humans.

Dont apologise brother. This is a platform for debate :)

And yes, i agree. Humans will be humans. If its not one thing dividing us, we find another thing.

Agree with Neo, eventhough for want of a better word 99% of 'Puratan' jathas believe in the same Maryada, the discussions around Raag Mala, Keski, number of keskis, length of keski, way to matha tek, what to wear, where to eat, who to speak to, what material to eat from, who to eat from, how many karey to wear etc all seem to take precedence over ekta.

So even if this saroop and many others contain say Raag Mala or maybe not nothing changes. Lets just focus on one ang and spend our lives arguing over it at the expense of 1429 angs.

Sorry for going off on a tangent with some of the post, rant over, I just wanted to get this off my chest :stupidme:

Haan ji, the only way to transcendence this is bhagti and see the world as dream and transient for what it is so one is de-attached and see and try to seek absolute truth/ tat gyan of everything in their meditation expereince....sant mahapursh are able to realize the tat gyan of everything so even if there are big difference of opinions between them on scholary/historical aspects etc, its seems like nothing if not little- compare to bigger clear perception of bhramgyan they are always experiencing (for lack of better word) in harmony with everything.

Trust me guys, I am no chardi-kalah and have follow very little rehat compares to other chardi-kalah gurmukhs, but with little expereince i have in meditation with gurbani..i can tell you there is definitely ultimate gurmat absolute reality truth existence here and now waiting for each one of us to experience, once even expereince an drizzle of it, one automatically gets drawn towards higher reality than these arguments, one automatically drawns to it and transcendent it...!!

In many ways, the very step towards sikhi is very last step which is all is needed before gurbani draws you in automatically..in fact gurbani always draws seeker in once one reads it ... the reason we cannot see or feel as we (our egoic mind of pre conditioning) get in the way with big psychological shield/sheat around it !!!!!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
