Can you suggest a better place to live? This backs the argument for a Khalistan. Where a Sikh can live like a true Sikh. Until then a Sikh will have to live how the British will accept and tolerate.

Sikh can already live like a true Sikh in england, you are copping out blaming country for your own spiritual hindrances which is created by you no else. Ever heard of sant mani singh ji uk? He was proud british(had british flag on his body) and bhramgyani khalsa mahapursh born and bred in UK...you are making it sound like true sikh can never be british, canadian, american( upholding current country constitution) is mutually exclusive?

The amount of injustices Britain/UK has done perhaps no other country has. Even the current constitution does not filter out the corruption of the governments and politicians and their roles in corruption, 1984 being one example. True Sikh never aligns themselves with a country like that. Maybe during their life due to career/social reasons, but never have flag draped on funeral body.

Bhai Mani Singh UK is the only example you have.

Here is an example of a real Dhan Guru Piarey GurSikh:

Will the British will never tolerate you using your Kirpan no matter how just the cause. One day the British will acuse Sikh parents of Amritdhari children of child abuse for giving them weapons. Can you board a plane with your armour and not have your dastar humiliated? Can you truly be armoured to a practical level like a Khalsa should be? Carrying a '9 inch dagger' or 'ceremonial sword' has just become a ritual. For how long will Sikhs face discrimination serving in the armed forces or flying commercial aircraft? How many cases will we have to win? The western world continues to erode the Sikh identity. In 100 years I doubt there will be any of the few that remain today. Sikhis desperately needs their own their independent political system. We have been goverened by democracies who frankly couldn't care less about religion, yet alone Sikhi.

Raj bina neh dharam chale hain.

That is what jews thought too, but you know what happened to them. However, now you cannot even hurt a single jew because of Israel.
I cannot understand how Sikhs could be against their own country. In India, some Sikhs might be against Khalistan because they will be killed if they say something about their own country.
I am amazed that we have to defend our country to Sikhs, that is really a sorry state of affairs.

Not sure how i feel about someone living in current country as canadian citizen- enjoying full generous system of that country for 40 some years ending up having different country flag (which is just concept for now) on his body? he could have both that would have been understandable.., on top of that- supporting air india bomber- , inderjit singh rehat who lied 21 times (admitted to prejury which gursikh lies, do you guys realize he sworn on gutka sahib and still lied 21 times?) who has admitted to make a bomb (no one gives a bomb to someone knowning full purpose), which killed 330 canadians, including 92 sikhs..!!

Unbelievable. Hopefully bhai balpreet singh WSO have a nice pr statement to explain this logic to media if quizzed.

They all quit british army when in their current time british gov't start killing sikhs.

Serving in army and earning a living is different than placing flag representing overall corruption of the country on the body.

When one is in the army, one is in control of their actions and therefore are representing themselves and their own personal intentions first and foremost.

I am sure he is in its own right. I am sure he is in sachkhand too but gurbani mahavaks stands too, we are all under mistakes while we are living:

bhullan andar sab ko, abhul guru kartar ||

placing flag representing overall corruption of the country on the body.

Not really, i see placing flag representing constitution of the country which is for most part enforced/followed in UK.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
