I've been dating this person for about 2 years now and just recently,I've realized with waheguru's kirpa that create a relationship with the GIVER (who is unseen & reveals himself only if you have the hunger for him, who is the truth and everlasting.Everything else is temporary & victim of time )

They are the Khalsa who remain attached to the True Naam. They are the Khalsa who break away their worldly bonds.

Whilst its true everything is worldy bonds and transient ...what is absolute truth is Naam (backdrop absolute reality essence) which is all pervading which exist in everyone also includes in her as well that you may be thinking of breaking up its like breaking up one situation moving on to next try to seek and seek and seek and seek , breaking up that suitation moving on to the next its like endless game where what you seeking, its been there all along as back drop in everything you trying to avoid and seek... absolute reality- back drop existed all along...!!

In this case as all its required to recognize the backdrop - Naam (absolute reality ) behind everything, recognize Naam within and recognize everything is happen under NAAM not outside of it, it requires bit of practice, but after a while you will notice no outer worldly relationship needs to be broken only perception needs to be changed thats all, pure perception of seeing and recognizing NAAM (backdrop) of all and everything is happening under neath, you will be automatically de-attached as you will be drawn towards the absolute reality - NAAM automatically to state gurbani describes- Gurmakh maya vich udasi...!!

So at the end it does not matter one I O TA if you break up in relationship (be it any) or not if you haven't addressed things within mind as nothing outside needs to change just your inner mind and perception... True bairaag is inner de-attached within, seeing clear pure perception/absolute reality - NAAM/pure awareness behind everything.!!

Dear veerjee _Gupt_Singh,

All relations are karmic relations. One has a relation with a mother, father, son, brother,wife, husband......there is nothing wrong in these relations, they have their own charm and beauty.

Be positive.

The thing is not to have "moh", in them. Take them as "amanat" from Wahiguru, not your property, then one will enjoy those relations. You see, the thing is to keep Wahiguru in mind at all times. This will help us to live among our relations and fulfill our duties towards them.

As per your relation, in my personal opinion, go after her, do not ditch her like that for no reason.

Did not our Guru Sahibans, got married? It is better to be married, because when the mind attacks with full force, with all the kaam vaasana, then one just falls down.

One has not to suppress, one´s emotions and feelings, as long they are normal, not like the beasts.

We have to live in this world as said before, without attachments, without "moh".

Like a duck in a pond of water, when it wants to fly, it just flies away, because its wings do not get drenched with water while being in the water.

That is how we should live in this world. When our time comes to leave from this world, you should go happily without any regrets.

We should live in the world, but without being of the world, that means keeping Wahiguru as our goal.

We are tourists in this alien land/world.

We should not get involved in affairs of politics, land, caste, creed, mazab, which are all chains around our necks, which pull us down to the creation again and again. We do not belong here, our real Home is Sach Khand, our true Father is Satnam.

I Agree with what Harsharan said- except that our true home is Truth, no realm that is subject to maya- no image. Being free is being in acceptance of hukam- of Truth in everything.

Also that the original poster is free 2 do what they want- God doesnt judge but tge law of karma is in play. We all really know right from wrong, some of us just like to ignore it and try n live in ignorance.
