Beard - Explanation From 2Nd Jathedar Hazur Sahib

Recommended Posts

Kep your handicap situation to yourself.

The Khalsa have fought and won many fights with " long" beards.

Thats rubbish you know nothing of street fights, close up fight situations. Your dhari can be easily grabbed. I quote the recent news of Sikhs fighting each other over Gurdwara defamation and one of thems dhari came out during the fight.

A good fighter should be aware of his long beard and also his/her kesh coming loose. If you opponent grabs hold of your kesh, youll get knocked about like a doll

True, but street fights can happen any time. There is no warning when it happens on the street, it only takes a split second. It would be illogical to say tie your beard all the time because you never know when it will happen. Women are weaker than men so how do they make up for this weakness they have. Size matters, but not as much as speed and keeping space between you and the opponent. If you are going to let an opponent walk up to you closer than arms length, you might as well let him give you a good shoot on the chin. You won't ever do that again. If by chance the opponent does there are ways to immobilize his hands. Just takes practice and routine to develop the skills.

I agree with you it makes us more vulnerable in a fight, but so does a dastar and long hair.

Lol good fighter?

Do you understand why Guru Sahib prescribed guerilla warfare and weapons?

Go be a good tied beard fighter, you oiss a sardar he blasts your beard with a .44.

What your speed agility gonna do?

Street fights are not unpredictable and all that.

Don't believe internet stay out of extremely poor neighborhoods especially black ones (statistically speaking) and none of that going to happen.

Stay armed and the random racist attacks that happen won't either.

Obviously in a fight you aint gonna say hang on while i tie my beard, what you do is tuck it inside the clothes you got on.

No you attack first, have weapons or create distance and fire in this age of firearms.

Tying is beadbi and only dine when no other choice.

Way you talk sounds like you don't have much of beard at all anyway.
