This all keeps on happening in India. Where people with different beliefs live, all this kind of act is obvious.

i can easily recall 4 to 5 incident happened against Sikh last year under Manmohan singh's leadership.

Congress did so gud in 1984 with sikhs.

From last 10 years we had a silent minister. Thank God he's out and now we will have a minister who speaks. Number of votes proves his power and liking of people for him.

I dont want to offend anyone. but under BJP sikh are not in any kind of danger.

If anyone is going to suffer in india it will be the sunnats (moslims), no more appeasement like khangress were doing to them. I recall 38% sikhs voted for modi ji and about 25% voted for AAP. These results were shown on the NDTV channel.

Im glad BJP won I would choose that any day over khangress government

The results are in and they are astounding. Magnificent. Narendra Modi did wildly better than even the best projections. The BJP (Modi’s party) won over 50 percent of the seats ALONE, without even their handful of ideologically aligned allies.

Despite what the cretins in the media and the Islamic apologists in the political arena tell you, there is major change afoot. I have been seeing it here in the States, and we see lights of hope and truth beginning to blaze across the world.

Perhaps the abject failure of Obama and the loss of America as the stalwart leader for freedom has made people the world over see that they better fight the great fight. The US is being dismantled by a saboteur and she cannot be relied upon.

The rise of UKIP in the UK, Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party in the Netherlands, and now the BJP is a triumph.

Soha Ali Khan shoot of 1984 riots film disrupted in Ludhiana village

Tarsem Singh Deogan, Hindustan Times Ludhiana, May 19, 2014

First Published: 07:56 IST(19/5/2014) | Last Updated: 08:04 IST(19/5/2014)

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan and the entire unit of her upcoming Hindi film “October 31” (tentative name) based on the 1984 riots were on May 16 harassed on the shooting location at Gungrana village, 27 km from here.

The filming was disrupted. Some of the locals even threatened to vandalise the set. Getting no security on account of the Lok Sabha election result day, the team completed its task the next day when the police protection was available.

Speaking for the makers, Divya of Magical Dream Productions said they had incurred a loss of 25 lakh because of the interruption.

The film, for which Shivaji Lotan Patil is directing the cast of Soha Ali Khan, Vir Das and Deep Raj Rana, is based on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The unit is in Punjab to shoot some of the scenes. A set of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk is raised at Gungrana, and fans are free to observe the actors from a distance.

“Some 250 people were filming the scenes on Friday when a few locals appeared and, for no reason, asked the crew to pack up,” said Divya. The film will be released in October.

this is why its important to be amritdhari and a tyar bar tyar Sikh so you can stand up for yourself, your faith and others.

Many people now-a-days think that the kirpan is just symbolic and the government won't allow you to use it as it'll be against the law.

However what about when the government turns on YOU ?

I'm not saying that turn into a violent maniac but what I am saying is learn the skills of self defence that Guru Gobind Singh ji emphasises so much, so if ever you do find yourself in the situation where you need to be at defence, you are ready !

Bhull chuk maaf ji :smile2:

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
