The salafi sunni jihadi type of muslim within the likes of ISIS definitely has designs on India and beyond. However the ones in taliban in nwfp pakistan want to first attack and capture afghanistan and pakistan from their respective government's. I've analysed alot of jihadi material online and learnt they first want to establish a massive caliphate stretching from top of Africa to Kashmir and beyond which will be dar-ul-islam (house of islam) and the rest of the unconquered world will be dar-ul-harb (house of war). They are unlikely to achieve their objectives unless whole populations of sunni's rise up and join their cause.
