Fiba Forces India's Sikh Basketball Players To Ditch Their Turbans At Asia Cup

Recommended Posts

Once again as we have almost zero parchar, many Sikhs do not feel about Sikhi from their heart. There maybe be Kirtan on tv, but most do not know what it means. No discussion programmes on Sikhi or coverage of our proud history. That why the youth have discarded their Kakkars on mass. Most Sants are content with their deras, the Takhts are run by Delhi's proxi leaders. At least in the West we have some discussion in the Sikh media and a few hard working Sikhs have tried doing Parchar.Sikh organisations, Sants, Babas , Nihangs need to launch a Panjab wide awareness about Sikhi in a way the youth can relate to and understand. This is what Sant Ji started and was opposed by the Govt and many so called Sikhs.

Fiba haven't forced nothing, it's the rules. The Qatar team refused to take of there hijabs and told fiba were to stick it.

Two Singhs on the team cut there hair and were knocked out of the tournament a few games later. A joke. Don't blame sikh organizations, it's us we are a very weak people.

Old days of bir ras have gone, we are sikh/Christians (you know our British blended hippie, Hindu hating sikhi).

We need more bani in us not laws to help us be sissys

The above is not a dig at you veer ji

I am surprised that the people in India do not follow SIkhi very well. Out in the west when the soccer had a Distar ban in Quebec the children stopped playing. Why did these weaklings not stop playing. The entire Canada opposed and we won. Look at the ban that was to be in Quebec the party that was going to stop people from taking government jobs were about to be forbidden with religious headgear. The party that was to bring in this law lost the election majorly.
