Funny how jatts supposedly did all this fantastic stuff, yet they cudnt stop being bent over by muslim invaders n raped, and they cudnt stop "higher caste" hindus/muslims (brahmins/bhats/rajputs)from kickin them out of their masjids n mandirs, for being "lower caste" shudras. Also i thought raja porus was a khatri or rajput, since he was from potohar area.

Its no coincidence that followin this casteist bullyin that jatts endured, that soooo many jatts became sikhs of guru hargobind, and part of his akal sena army, as our gurus house was acceptin of these "lower caste" jatts. Remember also the hindu hill rajas wanted to become sikhs of guru gobind singh, but only 1 condition.....they wanted a seperate batta (bowl) to drink amrit from, as rajputs have always been the "higher caste", n refused to share the same amrit bowl as the rest of us dirty shudras.

It's the British that made them think like this, calling Jatts a martial race, when they're really farmers. They should be proud of their ancestors being farmers because they would be really needed to help grow any civilization, we need farmers. The problem is, when they allow their ego to cause divisions within our Panth, (caste-named Gurdwaras).

What Cisco meant to say is that so-called Jat-"Sikhs" have been registered as a Backward Caste in Punjab.

Obviously Sikhi says that no Sikh should have caste and that we should spit on the pathetic caste system.

The grant of Backward Class status to the Jat Sikhs will enable them to get reservation in government jobs. Jat Sikhs of Punjab had been left out of the Indian Cabinets decision because the Punjab government had failed to bring the community in the State Backwards Class list.

It's true, in Punjab they don't educate the females. No offense to you, but Punjab is one of the few places in all of India that still practice female discrimination and Caste-Discrimination.
