Am i Sikh?

Should I represent Sikh female?

(When you are not Sikh then you have no right to represent kaurs)

Shes a Sikh...I don't know but she sure is brainwashed to even write an article about it and attack Sikhsangat members. If she wants to discuss this matter why not simply write on this forum instead of ranting on it in her little wedding blogs. They always attack indirectly.

I know this may hurt some people's feelings but this level of secularist mindset is unseen among other desi girls. Muslim girls are the most loyal to their religion followed by Hindu girls and lastly our girls, though Hindu girls are not that much different from Sikh girls in this regard. It's not just the writer of this article that's like this, I've seen almost every young girl from within my own relatives who has the same views about inter religious marriage. They're attitude is always like this:

"what's wrong with it?"

or "As long as you're happy and in LOVE, that's all that matters"

and my favourite is "I am what I am, your approval isn't needed"

It's this type of gullibility that makes our girls into such soft targets for Love Jihad. Seriously, we are doing something really wrong in the way we raise our girls. This is all due to the secular lifestyle our people have adopted. Sikhi has taken a back seat in our lives. We are suffering and we do not even realize it. The only medicine is Sikhi. Gurmat Sanskars and Gurbani need to be made a part of our lives in order to give us direction, otherwise we are lost in this world.

Bhaji, there are many muslims and hindus who think the opposite and admire Sikh girls for their values. Respectively, they think their girls are worse...
