Way To Make My Gutti Smaller?

I play cricket and I want to make my gutti smaller in my patka so the helmet will fit easier, how can I do this? squash it? but keep it in the normal style but just smaller?

I am guessing that by gutti uou mean joora. I did played cricjet couple of times when i was young. Can you exactly tell us how having big joora is a problem for playing cricket? Is it the helmet?

probaly , my eldest used to make a flat jooda by coiling it around the kanga on top of head tucking in the end under the kanga then tying patka. works for scuba too
