Bhai Randheer Singh (Hazoori Ragi) - I have great respect for bhai sahib because of his humbleness and no lallach for money. I saw him many time driving atlas cycle near darbar sahib.

These days it feels like Gursikhs want a famous raagi at their wedding for something to boast about. I hear it all the time 'I had bhai so and so' Its like basically the same reason typical punjabi's want a famous singer at their weddings. Just for their ego.

There's plenty of good humble raagi's in punjab who can perform equally as good as the well known raagis. Just ask the local Gursikhs in the area where the marriage is.

Not really. Yes there were good non-lalchi raagis if you are talking about 30 yrs ago. To find gursikhs locally is like to find needle in a haystack. Even if you manage to find one, believe me do jot throw blind trust on em. Ij punjab its dog eat dog situation.

Now majority of them are in raggis profession to make money (not all of them). We wanted akhand paath saiib at our house in punjab, opted to go to pick an organization who do akhand paath and sewa given benifits its mission (orphanage).

Person up in front booked it externally - who has no rehat and the worst in respecting guru sahib.
