The thing I noted was the womenfolk of the family was like that poster of grandmother daughter granddaughter where the sikhi is degrading

Nani was wearing chottey keshki (hijab style) mother coloured hair daughter trimmed hair ... it;s all very well bringing up your kids 'like sons' then why on Earth didn't you manage to teach them SIkhi and to keep a dastar???

When I see Gursikh grandparents or even parents bringing their children to the West from Punjab to get better opportunities in life but then fail to make them keep Sikhi values throughout their upbringing makes me sad.
