Sikh Woman Makes History As Yuba City Council Member

Which Gursikhs made the movie?

ਯਾਰ ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਹੱਤ ਧੋਕੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਗਿਆ.

Okay I agree with you. Chaar Sahibzaade is an extremely anti Gurmat movie and Preet Didpal's victory as council member is the greatest victory for Sikhs since the battle of Sirhind. ਹੁਣ ਕੁਸ਼

Paaji, I am sorry to have responded to you in the way I did. It's no excuse but some people on here a wind up merchants and I fall for it every time and entertain them. I need to work on this.

Now there is no need to be facetious. I never said anything bad about the movie! Just trying to make you look at your opinion in the same context. The movie is in no shape or form anti gurmat, but it is funded and made by patits. Just trying to show you not only Gursikhs are capable of good deeds for the faith.

I responded to your post in adult fashion, why do people on this forum have to lower the tone TRYING to be sarcastic?

Another clone like Nikki Haley...If we our making our youth like her to carry represent Sikhs in the future then we are the oppositeirection from progression in the West.

The thing I noted was the womenfolk of the family was like that poster of grandmother daughter granddaughter where the sikhi is degrading

Nani was wearing chottey keshki (hijab style) mother coloured hair daughter trimmed hair ... it;s all very well bringing up your kids 'like sons' then why on Earth didn't you manage to teach them SIkhi and to keep a dastar???

When I see Gursikh grandparents or even parents bringing their children to the West from Punjab to get better opportunities in life but then fail to make them keep Sikhi values throughout their upbringing makes me sad.

A sikh who has not taken amrit also can become patit. Any Sikh who cuts hair is a patit.

Clearly she cuts hair to fit in with the western mindset.
