Tommy Robinson Speaks At The Oxford Union

I have now had a chance to view the Oxford Union presentation by Tommy Robinson. Tommy Robinson raises a number of valid points.

Islamists extremists were able to set fire to poppies at a public demonstration. This is a clear case of the Police failing to do their job properly in ensuring the public were in no danger and then failed to apprehend the culprits who posed that danger to the public. The British Police unfortunately has become politicised and can no longer be judged to be fair, impartial and even truthful. A sad day indeed where cowardice has won in the face of political correctness.

In an interview in 2010 on the Newsnight (BBC current affairs programme) Tommy Robinson raised the issue of child grooming. Four years later Tommy Robinson was proven right as well as our own Sikh Awareness Society by the issuing of the Rotherham Report into Child Grooming by Professor Jay. Apart from Andrew Norfolk why did the British media turn a blind eye to the most heinous crime of paedophilia?

http://www.rotherham.gov.uk/downloads/file/1407/independent_inquiry_cse_in_rotherham

Why has Anjem Choudhary not been arrested and charged for inciting terrorism – a double agent of MI5 no doubt?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/in-britain-islamist-extremist-anjem-choudary-proves-elusive/2014/10/11/eb731514-4e43-11e4-8c24-487e92bc997b_story.html

There is more points I can raise but please judge for yourself.

But when you see people like saiful islam and also that lady with niqab who i believe are Bangladeshi it does make you wonder about the religion... I know there are good arab people etc and even good punjabi pakistani lahori people, its a weird one.

I grew up in Hackney East London and since 1975 it's true the whole atmosphere has changed, all the recent influx of people have been islamic and very aggressive towards to original or preceding immigrants , the streets which used to be patrolled by skins in 77-80 now are patrolled by gangs of bangladeshi youths and pakistani youths even those gangs are not mixing . The Bangladeshi and guys arrived with their families during the eighties , the parents were quiet hard-working as were the older siblings it's the third generation and younger second generation siblings that fell into gang mentality due to initial fears of racism which petered out after five years as they became accepted but then the pakistanis turned up with their hatred for all non-muslims and their virulent hate-spouting Imams they radicalised the youths and now it a mix of muslim youth gangs and white/brown gangs in Hackney. Now the Somalis are here they are rude, nasty attitude and just out to get what they can out of the system and mess up the locals as we are all kuffar and deserve it. It's this attitude that most British people find hard to accept the ingratitude for giving them pannah and the reward of being cussed down, physically attacked or robbed.

That woman is representative of the new face of burka hijab wearers now uneducated yet superior feeling women who are rude and outspoken to all and sundry. ehna de nal matha lagna bewaquoofi aa ehna da soch bikul bandh aa.

Ranjeet01,

"The government will have to take off the kid gloves and deal with these folks with a firm hand.
Hari Singh Nalwa had the right idea".

i agree with what you say. I also associate myself with the words of jkvlondon on this topic. The tragedy is, if you remember at the time, that a organisation called "The Turban Campaign" arose to dissociate itself with Sikhs who supported Tommy Robinson at the time. Tommy Robinson has been the voice of reason on this topic yet some of our "own" showed where their loyalties lie. Tragic.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
