There is no doubt Farid was born in a Muslim family and given an Islamic upbringing

Later he became a fakir or dervish and enlightened in union with God it's possible at this point he broke away from islam as he remained an enlightened saint

You are a bully. No matter what is presented. Even if vaheguru comes in a human form to directly repeat the shabad you quoted in isolation, you will not accept the truth of Gurbani.

Sant Jarnail Singh Ji warned a certain jagat narain to stop poking fun at our guru's in his newspaper (jag bani)... jagat narain refused to stop and was subsequently assassinated at the orders of sant ji. Would some of you call this terrorism and evil??

This is good interesting point.I myself struggle with this point many years ago. I can see why youths can easily get confused or fall off in this easy precedence. I would say its quite difficult and quite slippery slope to give proper concentrate one fold answer to this. I would say it was exceptional circumstances cannot be followed blindly by mass solution to an issue or quick fix.
On one hand, you don't want above example to be set as precedence (which often happens or gets hijacked by right wing groups which misinterpret dharma) or above perceived percedence followed by mass as mass would probably see this as superseeding dharam teaching-dya/dharam, guru maharaj - teaching(dya/pen/sword-sant/sipahi) in zafarnama as mass is not yet deep rooted in sant aspect in dharma or receptive towards unfolding hakum in one's unconditioned untouched pure lotus surti(intuition).
On second hand, you don't want above sacrilege beadhi go by either let maha beadhi against our guru sahib go by idle.
I would say proportionate response is needed. If pen-zafarnamah by sri guru gobind singh ji via shabad power , tremble aurenzeb and his hakumat then we should not under estimate momentum/power of word-shabad or guru maharaj pen tradition (in zafarnama) either. Power of shabad and pen has inherent power and authority in them especially if it comes directly from unconditioned untouched pure lotus surti(intuition/consciouness).
My hope would be sikhs shouldnt take quick fix route-use un proportionate force and hope they will be deep rooted in shabad and let hakum unfold itself whatever the outcome be than conditioned mind take control and use selective examples from history, make precedence out of them.

Here we go again the secular-quasi religious fanatic cannot stop his propaganda. Zafarnama was written to a King who went back on his word and obviously this secular-quasi religious fanatic has not read zafarnama to even begin to understand it's context and reasoning. No one whether someone calls a person Sant or is a Sant can write like the Gurus. Zafarnama cannot be duplicated by anyone. Zafarnama was not a response to the warfare, but telling the Muslim King his mistake and what the Khalsa Panth is about. Zafarnama was telling the Muslim King you have not killed the Khalsa Panth. The Akali Fauj is stronger than ever and is coming for you. Zafarnama spoke of revenge.....the king cobra sit coiled up and is ready to strike.... These secular-quasi religious fanatics want to take the strength out of Sikhs and make them into passive, get slapped around and beg to the attacker for apology.

Everything in this world is Hukam. Gurbani says nothing can take place without his Hukam. Chandu Shah being the mastermind behind the martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji is Hukam. Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji ordering the death of Chandu Shah is Hukam. World Trade Centers being blown up is Hukam. Sri Harmandir Sahib being attack every time is Hukam. Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji being burnt in the attacks is Hukam. Singhs killing Indira Gandhi is Hukam, Singhs killing Jagat Narain is Hukam. Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib ji being tortured and then beheaded is Hukam. So how do Sikhs know what is permitted and what is not permitted. We look at the Gurus teachings and act without any desire. What desire did Sant ji have when he gave the order to kill Jagat Narain. No desire to win or lose. He gave his warnings to Jagat Narain and he refused to stop. Jagat Narain was suppressing and insulting Sikhs and the Gurus with malicious intent and he received the death penalty. There was no desire to kill or have him die and there was no desire to keep him alive. There was only dharm in the act. Sant ji had no personal vendetta with Jagat Narain and neither did Taksal or the Khalsa Panth. This is context of Hukam. These secular-quasi religious fanatics cannot even understand what the "H" stands for in Hukam. These secular-quasi religious fanatics say it is alright to use the sword when 3HO women want to do kirtan at Sri Harmandir Sahib and praise Sant baba Nihal Singh ji for standing up with the sword. But it is not right for Bhai Amrik Singh ji Ajnala to punish those who do disrespect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Instead they slander him by posting videos and favoring such videos named Khalistani Khaliban Taliban Sikhs. These secular-quasi religious fanatics have taken sides and when you take side you cannot even begin to understand what Hukam means. Sri Anand Sahib slaps this secular-quasi religious fanatics 600 times in the face by saying you cannot even rise above good and bad, how can you even understand the Guru is? These secular-quasi religious fanatics hate Singhs and they thirst for duality. These are the people who want to act holy and teach you about Sikhi? You are better off going to RSS camps to learn about Sikhi.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
