theres actually nothing available about this sakhi online!   all that i gathered from a old book about guru nanak dev jis janasakhi is that dev lut was a king in africa and according to that book guru ji gave him naam and gave him prashad. i dont think he was a demon but just a king, probably a local leader or tribal leader  

many sakhis have disappeared,  like where guru nanak dev ji is talking to a massive sea creature/whale
