Do we think either Bikrami or Nanakshahi use Gurmat Terminology? Like Jyoti Jyot Samauna: They(Calendarists) call physical death as Jyoti Jyot Samauna which is blunder as per Gurbani. Jyoti Jyot Samauna is a task which a soul need to achieve. ਆਪਨੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੋਤੀ ਰਲੀਐ ॥੩॥ (Aapnarha Prabhu Nadar Kar Dekhe Nanak Joti Joti Raliye). We have many Shabads in Gurbani which explains Jyoti jyot Samauna is not Physical Death but it is union with owns Lord.

When Bhai lehna learnt Gurmat from Gur Nanak and when he ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ, that day is Jyoti Jyot Samauna. Now Can Calendarists find the dates of Jyoti Jyot Samauna of every Gur/Bhagats?

the Questions to ponder over are

1 - Why we should not have our own calender ( Call it by any name - when i was a Kid I used to hear about Khalsa Samvat - starfting from Baisakh Sangrand - implying that it was solar calender & also Nanakshahi calender starting from Kartik Poornima )

2 - before adopting a calender why not decide whether it would be solar or Lunar

there after we can unaimously decide about the name
