Does It Ever Feel Like Mahraj Is Punishing You?

Good post MissedAsingh.

Pay off your negative karams, but stay detached in Truth. You'll feel pain but you'll recognise it as the balance-the same as Sukh, it's just karam and a brand of emotion(highs and lows). Highs and lows, Dukh and sukh, heaven and hell are really just fragments of Nothing/the balance/the whole. In every spec of heaven and hell, exists the entirety, the Nothingness which is our True nature. Even the devil is truth, we all walk to the tune of Truth-to Hukam.

Make better karams for yourself. I personally went through a phase where my family gave me such constant grief, but it was my karam-I recognised that I was paying off bad karma.

I detached from it and then went through a time where I was so happy and didn't see them for months-it was the happiest time of my life for as long as I could remember, I wasn't around their negative abusive energies(they are all mentally messed up, because of their deeds and what we went through as children with our parents.)

Now if I am about to mess up, I realise that God has given me the priceless gem with Truth, people would kill to live the nasha I live- I have never and know I will never be given a gift so precious.

When u practice Truth properly u automatically get a huge number of Haters. The Gurus haters did horrible things to them, but we have to be completely fearless to accept Gurbani and ourselves as 100% Truth on this path. In accepting ourselves as Nothing but Truth-we develop the True Self Love that mayadharis lack which is the reason they live in ego/5 thieves and take the pain of a lack of Self-Awareness/True self Love out on others.

What about if your paid your bad karma, but another bad karma is created? The bad karma doesn't necessarily have to be created by you, but the reason could be because of you? How is that sort of karma paid off?

Confused question

i can't help but think some people live their lives walking on egg shells. It makes us sound as if were scared to live our lives. Way too many of my friends just absorb negativity and let it fester inside, i say let it out there and then when it happens! People who really appreciate gurbani receive the strength and courage to tackle the problems they face, it makes them strong and confident. Don't hide behind your fears but tackle them there and then. There is way too much talk of karma ........... we are hear on this earth to make a difference.

100% bhaji/bhenji

(You giys can judge me all you want you dont know what ive been through and i will be saying "i" alot interpret it as u wish)

Its been many years now ive restrainted myself for years from everything and i feel as if maharaj has turned his bak on me so cause of that my intention isnt to meet god anymore but to attain ridhi sidhis even though everyone may say they are just attachments and are nothing but half if not neally all of you havent ever exsperienced ridhi sidhis. Every time i get bak on track 8th 9th time now and get to an high avasta my body dies on me. Just now i came out of hospital after 3 weeks which caused me to rest and sleep and miss my simran routine etc and falling bak into a crappy state of mind like i said its happened many times now. Ive noticed if i increase my level of abyass the more punishment i get as in this time round i was doing upto 10 hours simran a day and i neally died of kidney failure docotors still dont know why or what caused this to happen im going through tests still but anyway. Das has been blessed with ridhi sidhis before instead of restraining myself anf being dissapointed and falling into depresstion cause of me not being able to meet god im going to just "enjoy" (enjoy just keep myself happy somehow at least)in this life instead. But anyway theres millions of exsamples i can give you but yeah im done with being upset. My family and friends r my witness to whatever has happend in my life so yeah. Cant tell you guys how much it hurts me writing this this is my first ever post too

but yeah

100% get your organs checked by specialists 100%.

It could just be illness. You could just be getting sick. So you want to make sure that is taken care of becuase sickness may become an obstacle on the path.

Once you are 100% sure it's not illness...

Know that when one attains high avastha, one also attains mukti there and then, if you know what I mean. They may only stay on earth for a specfic task otherwise they leave. The body shuts down and the spirit departs.

So if it's not illness just raise your avastha as high as possible.

Good luck on your journey.(and goodbye if you get to the point of no return)

Unless you knowingly and willingly contributed to that bad karma, then there's nothing to be worried about. Give an example of what you mean, I'm failing to grasp your concept.

Brother, the world and its people are nothing but the result of karma! To ignore it, pretend it doesn't exist, or to downplay its existence and affects is to live in ignorance. But equally to be hamstrung into inactivity or fear by karma is also not a very good idea, lol.

Don'tCallmeBhajis post was really good and I agree with it. The world won't change and we won't learn much until we start getting out there, living (truthfully)and teaching people out of Maya. We are born to live so we should live Fearlessly, Happily, Truthfully and Confidently and Strong.

Being in Chardi kala means that no matter what happens, we recognise it just to be God himself dressed in different costumes etc, it's all just His khel. So we always remain calm and content in every scenario we're placed in.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
