Patshahi 10 ? Urgent.

Recommended Posts

PS: Cristians do not believe in reincarnation but in the bible it sort of talks about it(ill put up the tuk from the bible when I find it)... These types of things have been cut or added to please people's individual mindsets.. For example in the original bible there was no chapter of Romans. The Romans put that chapter in so people won't start disobeying the roman law... They were trying to make themselves look like the authority of god..

You should understand from where I'm coming from...

For singh veer ji ...see.my earlier post starting with " my query...."

For sukhjit ... mohalla10 was in SGGS...it is still there as dohra....

Also jesus christ was avatar or not ..... he.can be or cant be ....But what mtters is mukti...the ultimate goal....

Now ask urself who cn make u mukt...

If there's mohalla 10 written by haridas ji then i think patshahi 10 written in dasam bani can aswell be right...

& remember there's no iota of doubt for me about dasam bani!

sri akaal sahai!

Try to find answer of this question in Bani. Gurbani States:

(Jis No Bakshe Sifti Salah, Nanak Patsaahi Paatsaah)
(Ta Mann Khiva Jaaniye Ja Mehali Paae Thaao - P:16)

There are many lines which explains that Nij Ghar = Nirankar ka Des is Mahal and dweller of same is Mahalla.

As per Gurmat Philosophy there is no difference between Mahalla and Patshah.

And also we need to concentrate that it is Patshahi 10 which automatically makes first 9 Gur's Patshah. So this logic will not work that Gur Gobind Singh had some Ego problem.

(Jis No Bakshe Sifti Salah, Nanak Patsaahi Paatsaah)

Jesus had a kripan? I don't think he was a Sikh at all. I think the Vegetarian one is right ;) I can show you lines, where it says that people who are vegetarian are supreme, and God is thoroughly impressed by them. If Jesus can't impress God, how is he pavitr. So what if he kept his hair/pagg.. so many people kept there hair/pagg at that time, so many yogi babas keep there hair/pagg right now too, but it doesn't mean anything really since hair/pagg doesn't exactly mean enlightenment for everyone. Can you link me to Kalghidar Chamtkar? I'd like to read what that is before I say anything.

Yes he did carry a kirpan and so did all of his followers...

Read this article and now YOU make up your mind if jesus was a vegetarian

You are so narrow minded its not even funny. Please do not disrespect jesus or any avatars for that matter. Only the guru who is infallible can criticize and say anything about any avatars.

I bet you would have a heart attack Preet if you read sau sakhi... In it guru gobind Singh Ji ate a lion if I read correctly... I could be wrong so don't quote me...

If the guru wanted to jhatka a bakra and way it i have no problem whatsoever cause he is supreme even if he eats meat or not. It's the will of akaal purkh..

I don't put my guru in a box and say he can ONLY do certain things and he can't do anything else... For example in sikhi we aren't allowed to wear jewelry but guru Ji had pearls diamonds rings etc...

Jesus had a brother named James and he said 'that in the heavens there is no arguments about flesh but in my opinion we should be vegetarians.'

PS these are not the exact words of his so don't quote me..

Yeah, and eating vegetarian is a 'deed', incase you didn't know.

I don't care if our Sri Guru ji ate a lion. I know for a fact that eating meat is paapi. Besides, if our Sri Guru Sahib jhatka'd any animal, he gives the animal mukti, while we foolish human beings can't give mukti to anyone (even if we jhatka). As for jewelry, that's a totally different issue. I don't wear jewelry, but I have jewelry, and I don't think it's that bad. Look at Sri Vishnu for example, he wore jewelry yet he is that satguru of satyug. So it can't be that bad.

Singhs also did jhatka contrary to popular belief that they ate sholey when they were in the jungles.

    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
    • Good way of putting it, bro. One of the ongoing themes of Gurbani is the fake saint. Whether it's fake babas in Punjab or English-speaking personalities in the West, it's an continuing problem of religion through the centuries (and it's not exclusive to us by any means, this applies to all human societies).
    • First of all, while it's true that Gurbani says slandering a Saint has such-and-such effects, you can't do the reverse: You can't look and your situation and know for certain what caused it. We're not encouraged to mope over our situations but rather to accept the hukam (will). The last line of the very first pauri of Japji Sahib says to live in hukam: ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ hukam rajāī chalanā nānak likhiā nāl .1. O Nanak! By obeying, the pre-ordained order of the Lord's will. Secondly, the astpadhi from which you quoted the Sant ka dokhi verses has this verse at the end: ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਪਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਇ ॥ jis nō kripā karai tis āpan nām dēi . God gives His Name to those unto whom He shows His mercy. So ask for his mercy. Also check out the 7th Astpadi, which talks about the good effects of the sangat of a Sadhu: https://khojgurbani.com/shabad/271/709?highlighted_scripture_id=12007&highlighted_scripture_lang=gurmukhi&selected_content=gurbani I'm not getting into who is a "true" Sadhu in this post.
    • In langar it should be common sense for peopel to find a suitable space to sit. Normally in my local Singh Sabha gurdwara, there is enough space to sit, so I am able to find a space with enough space away from other people. There have been a few times, where there has been a lot of sangat and I have been forced onto a table.  In Slough and Southall Singh Sabha, Park Avenue, I will just sit near another group of men unless I am with family, but again there shouldn't be strict gender separation and instead common sense logic.
    • Yeh I could do to be honest. It's not really chardikala to be coming from the diwan hall and then sangat putting on shoes to go langar. I like sitting in the gurdwara with family, and there are spaces for this in bigger gurdwaras such as Slough, Southall, Coventry. In my current local area gurdwaras this is not really possible for weekly sangat, and also not for sangrand and gurpurb. Need to complain about these tendikalaUK practices  to be UK chardikala Singhs!
