Let us now turn to Wells’ analysis of genocide that The Bible warns Jesus is going to unleash upon us. According to The Bible, Jesus would return to the earth holding a sickle in his hand (Revelation 14:14). An angel would tell him that it is time to start a bloody genocide. Another sickle-wielding angel would join Jesus and the duo would start a violent carnage. The blood they spill would cover the ground up to the horses’ bridles in a space of 1,600 furlongs (Revelation 14:15-20).

Now, 1,600 furlongs is about 320 kilometers, and a horse’s bridle is 1.5 meters high or so. If we take the bloodbath to be circular with a diameter of 320 kilometers, then the total volume is 1.2 x 1014 liters. Since an adult has about 5 liters of blood, that gives us 2.4 x 1013 (24 trillion) people. That is 4,000 times more people than what inhabit the earth now. Perhaps Jesus would wait till the population explodes to 24 trillion before unleashing this genocide. My Lord, thy mercy is limitless!

Wells points out that there is another way to estimate the number of dead on the doomsday. This revised estimate might appeal to those who abhor population explosion. According to this contradictory biblical prophecy, Jesus would unleash the might of the sword and hunger to annihilate a fourth of the population (Revelation 6:8). Assuming that the much awaited Second Coming of Jesus happens today, a fourth of the seven billion human beings (i.e., 1.75 billion) would be slaughtered.

Jesus would then let loose four angels, who would massacre one-third of the remaining population (i.e., 1.75 billion). Jesus won’t take the chill pill yet. He would instead command 200 million fire-breathing horsemen to massacre a third of the survivors. In all, 4.7 billion humans would be killed when Jesus returns.

The Bible says that only 144,000 male Jewish virgins would survive the slaughter (Revelation 14:3-4)

Most major religions offer apocalyptic predictions featuring their enraged Messiah / Prophet returning to Earth to smite the evildoers and the unbelievers. Muslims believe the Imam Mahdi, the prophesied redeemer of Islam, will rule the world for a few decades.

But it'll be cool to see them all return.

What you are mentioning is from the last section of the bible called "the Book of revelations" and at the back of this book it says there are 7 seals/lights...

Sadly, all the faiths before sikhi were mostly misunderstood because they didn't catch the parables and mythological stories about spirituality.

The above descriptions and explanations are the complete ignorant misinterpretations believed by the masses that Guru Nanak ji was trying to keep us away from.

I can't explain too much but there is so so much spiritual understanding all about "going within" and finding God's temple inside you, the same harimandar talked about in sikhi.

As I was saying, the back of book is actually YOUR BACK.

The seven seals, lights are the7 chakras.....You are the book of revelations, it is talking about you yourself and how the seat of the mind, God's temple is inside your brain.

the 144 figure comes from the 12 cranial nerves the feed brain and spine, and the 12 cosmos lights or stars..same as the 12 Sun zodiac stars.

and thus 12x12=144 !!

There is so much information about all the true meanings of bible, but you have to find the small pieces scattered in different places.

Have a start at something like Jon Van Auken and Edgar Cayce ..below.. who were serious about meditation and spirituality.

http://www.edgarcayce.org/ps2/mysticism_interpretating_revelation.html

If you are into spirituality and you get the idea of interpretation,..then you will be able to understand many other parts of bible yourself.

You will find sections that overlap and are similar to some messages in gurbani.

Dear Singh Jee,

whatever quotations you have written above, it is one of the most ignorant and rubbish information written by anyone(not you obviously).

It is all false ...al manmat.

Christ was the Light of the world, a giver of eternal life, through the Holy Name or Naam or Shabad...

And all this is contradictory of taking away lives, which is the task of lesser entities, such as "yam doots"...

And the task of Jesus, was that of a Gurmukh, the Son, to awaken us, and show us the way to the Father, through His Simran.

Then the other point, let no one remain deluded, that Christ will ever come back sometime in the same body ... it is against Nature.

When our very Guru sahibans or the Bhagat Janas, had to appoint a Successor to carry on with the sacred task of awakenenig the Souls in the Light of Shabad, how can that One God Lord Akal Purukh, change His views for Christ?

It is all a fantasy nonsense of the foolish manmukhs, who spread their heavy dark agyanta among the folks, though they may have acheieved degrees in religious literature ...

It is the duty of each one of us, to cut from the roots all this rubbish.

We are blessed by Him, that with the aid of the wisdom of the Bani, we become mentally and emotionally balanced, thus be able to shed the Light of one unchangeable Universal Truth : Waheguru Akal Purukh.

Sat Sree Akal.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
