Defending Gurdwaras was the role of the Nihangs but they seem to only stay in their Deras now. Once again the ordinary Sikhs usually with no training come to the defence of Gurdwaras. Beadbi of the Guru Granth Sahib is happening a lot these days, something that all Sikhs should think about stopping in India and the where it happens in the West also.

How was he able to walk out with a saroop without being stopped? What was everyone doing at the time? And then buried the saroop?! Stupidity. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a way of inciting some Singhs to violence and worse in order to demonize Sikhs.

In punjab the comman folk don't really want the nihangs around... I have spent a lot of time in India in the past few years and noticed everybody just thinks of them as drugged up crazy people... They have no respect for them anymore...
