Ha, i actually know Sunny, he's a decent bloke, if you enjoy a good debate you should see him and his brother (Jagraj Singh, Basic's of Sikhi) go at it.

As far as Katy Sian, never heard of her but it's always nice to see someone taking the easy option and making a stance about Palestine, i might look up her book now just to see how opinionated she is.

Sikhs havent exposed katy sian properly yet because we as a community are too selfish when it comes to looking after our own community and we are too lazy to defend ourselves especially in this generation. The older generation used to get out in the streets and fight off skinhead white nationalist racist thugs, the enemy may have changed its face but it is still anti-sikh as ever (punjabi/indian girls who go against sikh ethics or values are promoted by atheist/christian white westerner editors and bosses). The way they attack your way of life is a bit more subtle more intelligent how it brainwashes people via their writings against real sensitive issues in the community.

But we deserve to have houris like katy sian who probably slept with muslim guys at college and uni hence her support for muslim causes but not their own community's justices and freedom campaigns. We deserve it because we dont expose these people properly we dont get involved on a community level like the white atheists do against their religious targets, like the homosexuals do against homophobes, like the islamo-fascists do against so called islamophobics, like the feminist militants do against their so called male chauvinists, like the jews do against anti-semites. The collective power of the many is much more powerful than a few individuals complaining here and there on facebook or forums.

Until Sikhs wake up and take any attack on Sikhi or on Sikhs as a personal attack on themselves and create media like blogs and youtube videos against morons like katy sian then these idiots will carry on getting away with their propaganda and nonsense.

The pen is mightier than the sword but if what is written by the pen is not read by many people then whats the use of it? Hence why Sikhs need to get off their backsides form media armies to create counter propaganda material against those who try to give anti-sikh messages. I thought our community were natural born fighters and warriors, I havent seen much use of the pen/social media shaster in this day and age. Something our community needs to master or continue to get a good kicking by anti-sikh individuals.

The problem with the Sunny Hundal/Katy Sian types is that they are Self-hating Sikhs who think that in order to be accepted by white middle class metropolitan elite they have to denigrate their own community and culture.

They have particular prejudices and then try to fit reports and articles to suit their biases.

The reality is the vast majority of mainstream media and mainstream media as well as the White middle class metropolitan elite in general have a good view of Sikhs. What these Sunny Hundal types have to gain I do not know.

However they need to be careful. An example I can give is Barkha Dutt of NDTV an Indian journalist and broadcaster. She is seen as anti-Indian, anti-Hindu, anti-BJP by large section of the Indian community.

She was at the forefront of criticising the rape culture in India and of showing the BBC documentary of the Delhi Rape called India ' s Daughter which kind of portrays that India is an evil patriarchy which oppresses women and that every Indian male is a rapist.

However, afterwards she was on a show with some White American women and these women were talking about the prevalent rape culture in India and suddenly Barkham Dutt leapt to the defence of Indian society and how not all Indian men are rapists and they should look at Western society and it's problems.

Good points! The self righteous right wing atheist/Christian fundamentalist white westerners who is in position of power will do their best to portray other cultures and civilisations in the worst possible light in a coordinated media campaign against that particular group of people or nation state that the establishment wants to demonise. If indian govt falls out with the UK govt you can 100% guarantee the folks in the british establishment will promote negative stories against India in mainstream media just like they are doing now with russia and putin because russia dont want to be subjugated by western imperialism 2.0

There is a current agenda against Indian / asian men in white western mainstream media (e.g. dailymail, bbc documentaries/news ,etc) . Rape and gang rape happens alot in america and south america usually committed by black and latino gang members yet you hardly hear it on the news because its not politically correct to make a big issue out of it. But of a population of 1 billion+ in india its ok to bash indian/asian men and portray indian/asian women as victims of this culture and race of guys. The UK's population is 70 million yet rapes and gang rapes also happen but there is no bashing of white or black men as there has been against asian men. These days ask your average white woman what she thinks of Indian/asian men and if she is honest she will tell you all the negative stereotypes that the mainstream white media has told her about. This racist agenda has not been exposed not even 1% by asian/indian males on social media because they are far too busy being oppressed.

The likes of sunny hundal and katy sian is that they are from the left wing political school of thought, they are against western imperialist ideology yet support ring wing islamo-fascist groups and causes. They unwittingly aid the very opposition they are against oxymoronic by producing content that bashes their own powerless community they were born in rather than bashing the powerful right wingers that want negative stories about minority communities.

Rather than having debate with leftist atheist punjabi morons like sunny hundal and katy sian on twitter. It is better to produce youtube content expressing why you feel they are wrong and why your argument is right. Youtube is pretty powerful tool to expose and refute the arguments and agenda's of anti-sikh individuals.
