That is completely unnecessary. I believe with the utmost conviction that Sikhi is the only major monotheistic religion that can accommodate homosexuals. We, as Sikhs, keep our kes uncut because we a

Nobody is using Alexander as an excuse to 'defend homosexuality', that's a gross misrepresentation. The only reason ancient civilisations were brought up was to refute the oft-repeated argument that h

Where do hermaphrodites fit in, then? If they don't fit neatly into a gender category, who are they "allowed" to have an Anand Karaj with - or are they restricted too, on account of the way they were

I think this Balkaar is a closet gay, Go learn how to read Gurmukhi before trying to preach your anti sikhi crap.

I agree with you, he hasn't really done anything to help other groups that are literally being persecuted, like Sikhs in Afghanistan, where thousands become refuge everyday.

Not all gay men do it up the hoo-hah you know. That's a stereotype.

Why you defend gay people over your own brothers and sisters in Guru Sahib is just confusing. If defending these people's, "rights" is more important than at least attempting the follow Guru's will, then it's not a good battle to fight. If it causes you to be against the sangat, it's not worth it. You'd probably support the molesting of innocent children because it's natural or animals raping each other. I'm not saying you have to follow everything Guru Sahib says, because I'm a broken sinner myself, but what I'm saying is ask Guru Sahib to assist in bringing you closer to him and when you 2 are together you'll know what's right and wrong.

Whereas you, by comparison, are a tireless fighter for the rights of others? Just who do you think you are telling me what I have and haven't done? You don't know me.

I'm not fighting for rights as much as I could, just like I couldn't do paht enough for Vaheguru; but in the midst of that, I don't support Paap especially on a Sikh forum.

Well why don't do you stop faffing about on an internet forum and actually go do something about all those injustices then? Your absence would certainly spare me the headache.

What you are Jacfsing, is a hypocrite, deriding complete strangers for apparently not doing enough for the rights of others, all while wasting time online accusing people of being closet homosexuals.

I'm sure you just misread what I said: in simple-terms, : all I do can't ever be enough for Vaheguru, you seem to misread things don't you.

Not quite the same as saying "all I do can't ever be enough for Vaheguru", is it Jacfsing Ji? Stop trying to leaven your hypocrisy with numinous and allegorical qualities.

It's eventually going to happen where we will see more "sects" or "jatha" forming in Sikh community. All "major" religions go through it, so I wouldn't be surprised same happen to Sikhi.

Eventually there will be a Sikh sect that support Homosexuality if we like it or not.

End of the day, I think we should focus on more important issues (fighting against corruption in our community to educating world about Sikhi).

I'll be the first to admit that I personally don't know enough to form a concrete opinion on whether or not gay marriage is permitted by the Gurus.

All I know is that calling them paapis/sinners is definitely against the principles of Sikhism, and goes against the whole concept of "indiscriminate love"

You still insult the Rehat, when Guru Sahib said,"Rehat Pyara Mujh ko, Sikh Pyara nahi" constantly saying the Rehat is wrong. When even Guru Sahib went on one knee for this Rehat.

Problem is there's different version Rehat Maryada (and it interpretation ) out there.

So I understand why there are Sikhs who don't follow Rehat strictly. It's just man made document (which there have been adjustments made to document) created in the last century while other Sikh groups ( like AKJ, Damdami Taksal etc) created their own version of Rehat since they reject SGPC rehat.

If there's new sect formed in our community, they will just create their own Rehat to justify their beliefs.
