Its great to see this thread still going apart from the usual fighting.

I don't really have much time as Im usually very busy so I have not had a chance to read a lot of the post here.

I would like to add another answer to Muslims apart from the one I already made.

Many Muslims are always going on about their numbers and have some kind of superiority complex due to the large population of Muslims. But lets just analyze the facts. Half of the Population of Muslims are actually Black people from Africa. And lets face it Black people will convert to anything. They are very naive race and will convert to anything. thats why so many blacks are Christians. These people want a sence of belonging in the world due to their skin colour which they are discriminated against. Hence they need purpose in their lifes and become muslims. It gives them some sence of an identity and history.

Thats why Many Black people in the UK/US convert to islam. Muslims prey on the weak minded and try and convert them. Ie in the prisons ect.

The other reason is obvious. They have forced their religion on people . Islam would not survive if it was not due to their laws they have that try and keep it going. Such as punishing apostates. conversion tactics. Hopefully people are realizing this now due to all the media highlighting what Islam really is.

As If you Sikhs belong to white race lolz .By the way you need to check you stats about Muslims.1/3 of Muslims are black not half.FYI people living in north African countries like Egypt,Libya,Morocco and Tunis are not Blacks.And Islam is not belong to just one race.There are millions of people from other races who follow Islam.There are millions of Native Europeans who follow Islam i.e Albania,Kosovo,Bosnia.Macedonia has 30 % Muslims.And then there are Muslims in Russia esp in Tatarstan,Bashkorostan and Checnya etc.

Agreed Muslim conquerors played a very big role in spreading Islam then again In Indonesia,Malaysia,Philippines and in some provinces in South Thailand which are Muslims majority here in these areas Islam spread by Dawah (Muslim missionaries) almost 250 millions Muslims live in these countries.

Complete BS.There is no sword of Islam anymore they can convert back to any religion but see this won't happen.90 % people remain in the religion in which they are born.

I don't know If Muslims have a superiority complex or not. But one thing I've noticed on this forum is that you guys have a real inferiority complex .That's why you guys are obsessed with Muslims which means you people definitely had a good thrashing by Muslims that's why you still have not get over it.If some Sikh marry a Muslim you people start shouting.Don't believe me ? And African American in United States are reverting to Islam not for the sake of idendity.Their ancestors were brought from Africa to work in America.Their ancestors were Muslims later on when they arrived in America they were converted to Christianity and now Black Americans just want to go back to their roots.I read in some newspaper that A black Christian named his daughter after the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (Fatima).Why ? Because he wanted to remind his cildren their true roots.

Big T in fact your figures are incorrect. Only 15% of Muslims are black Africans and it is fortunate that the number of black Africans was restricted to only 15% of the Muslim population. As had it been the 50% you stated that would only have been achieved off the back of hundreds of millions of poor innocent Africans being enslaved, raped and murdered by the Muslims.

The statement "that they will convert to anything" comes across very poorly (even though perhaps you did not mean it that way). When you strip away a human being's identity, culture and language as the Christians and Muslims do and have done to black Africans they become susceptible to cultural domination more easily. Thus the religion of a proud slaveowner and slave trader like Prophet Muhammad who sold innocent black children into slavery for his own financial benefit is bizarrely seen as some sort of cult fit to convert into by vulnerable individuals.

Instead of thinking that they will turn to Islam as Punjabi Muslims are very adept at lying to them, our focus with black Africans should be to educate them that Sikhi is the ONLY religion that opposes slavery unequivocally. Sikhi is the ONLY religion that teaches us that slaveowners should be burned to death rather than respected for being brutal slave traders like Prophet Muhammad.

Generally Muslims don't believe that a person like Prophet Muhammad or his relatives can do anything such barbaric.Muslims simply view it as a mere infidel propaganda.After all how can Muslims believe what their enemies say ? And even if Muslims esp Punjabi Muslims accept that Prophet Muhammad did all sort of things.Then again it won't change anything because the hatred for Hindus and Sikhs is too much among Punjabi Muslims.And how can Punjabi Muslims or even Sikhs forgot what happened to each community in 1947? Hatred between 2 communities would still continue.I don't see any reconciliation between Sikhs and Punjabi Muslims.Both communities have solid reason to hate each other. Why would they want to go back to their roots? Did you know how Muslims treated black African people? Let me tell you.

While many cultures have names for black people ie Indians call Black people 'Kaleh' and there is nothing much wrong in that. But Arabs had the most disrespectful term ever for a black person. The Arabic word for black person is 'Abid' . Abid simply means Slave. Thats right the arabs referred to a black person as 'Slave' They didnt even have a name for blacks. The simply refered to them as 'slave' 'Abid'

Incidentally many Blacks have the name 'Abdullah' This means the slave of allah'

Okay I knew at the time of writing that I was not 100% on the statistics but even one third of the entire Muslim population is a big chunk. What Im trying to get as is alot of Muslims are always saying. That their religion contain many different races unlike other religions like Sikhism or Hinduism.

What I am saying it easy to convert many black people due to their historical backgrounds of being slaves and having no identity/belonging ect. What Isis are doing now is what they did on a mass scale. Thats why So many converted to Islam. Not through love of allah but of fear for their own and families lifes they were forced to convert.

Go to places like Iran/Iraq and many middle eastern countries and you will find the lowest mosque attendances in the world . Not to mention many thousands of Muslims who leave the religion every day. There are even large groups who proudly claim to have left Islam. I have many arabic friends including turkish ect. And we get along great with them. But these turkish look down on Pakistan/indian muslims and dont mix with them as they dont see them as real Muslims but as modern converts.

You are quite right but rather than this unwillingness to accept the truth being a positive it is actually a very dangerous and suicidal negative. The same belief can make a Muslim say a Sunni Muslim put on a suicide belt and blow up a Mosque because it is a Shia Mosque. A Shia will do the same to a Sunni Mosque. Honestly if the whole world became Muslim tomorrow, Islam will still remain a religion of violence and terrorism because one sect of Muslim will kill another sect of Muslim in an endless cycle of violence.

You have glossed over why you as an atheist do not want other Muslims to know what you are. The reason is quite clear, these same Muslims will not wait for a moment before they start to throttle you or behead you. You are safer in a western country than you would be in an Islamic country. Well not just Arabs but almost every Muslim is considered a slave of Allah.The word Islam itself means submission to the will of Allah.And low attendance of mosques does not mean that that those Muslims have no love for their religion or Muslim community.Many Muslims drink alcohol and practice fornication , watch porn that does not mean that they have less love for Islam.In fact those guys who did 9/11 (I don't support their barbarous acts by the way) were seen in bars drinking alcohol etc hope u got my point.

And I don't know who your Turkish friends are they might be Atheists or staunch secular but don't be in illusion Turkey is one of the few countries where Pakistan has good image. Generally Turkish people and Pakistanis have good relations.People of modern day Pakistan supported Turkey during Caliphate movements Muslims gave donations for Turkish army in those days since then we have very good relations with them.Even Turkish nationalists acknowledge that.I can show you even Pakistanis who hate Arabs and other Muslims like Hassan Nisar who have no love lost for Arabs.Such people can be found in every community.Even some Punjabi Muslims looked down upon Bengali Muslims.But generally speaking an average Muslim from any community has great sense of belonging to Muslim Ummah and some Pakistanis esp seculars make fun of this Muslim Ummah concept but again you can't make 100 % people from any community to agree on one point and Muslims are no exception to it.You know I have Turkish friends who hate their founding father Kamal Ata Turk for making Turkey a Secular republic.There are always some sections of secular in almost every Muslim community who look down upon Muslims from other ethnicites. Muslims from secular countries took part in Charlie Hebdo protests in great numbers.In Turkey and in Russian regions such as Chechnya Muslims protested against Charlie Hebdo which clearly shows that Muslims from secular countries still have a great attachment to Islam.Don't let your some secular Arab or Turk friend to ignore ground realities in the Muslim world.

And Pakistanis are not modern converts. Pashtuns of Pakistan converted to islam in 7 or 8th century.Same goes for Baloch Muslims.Punjabi Muslims started to convert to Islam from 12 century onwards.Every Muslim in this world is converted in some way.Even the family of Prophet Muhammad was not Muslims at one point.Whole of Arabia was not Muslims.Turks too were shamniists before converting to Islam.Persians were Zoroastrians. Paki/Indian Muslims were Hindus.Afghans were Buddhist/Hindus same goes for Bengali Muslims.Indonesian and Malaysian Muslims too are converts.So basically every Muslims is convert

By the way I find it hard to digest that those Turkish friends of yours look down upon Indians and Paki Muslim but they get along with you guys even though you are Indians and have same ethnicity as most of Pakistanis have.This clearly shows that your Turkish friends are either Atheists or Secular which means they don't represent whole Turkish community.

Atheism is growing in every part of the world but the problem with many people is that they always look to other communities weak point like you guys are always ready to point that how atheism is growing in Muslim societies whereas you completely ignore to look in your own community.Atheism is also growing in India and in Sikh community you just need to open your eyes to see that as I've told you that instead of looking for Muslim atheists you should join some Punjabi Atheists groups and then you will know how many punjabis from Sikhs background are leaving Sikhism for Atheism.

True many Muslims leave Islam but we Muslims produces millions of babies every year so that does not have huge impact on our over all demography. Dawah centers are preaching Islam in almost every non Muslim country.If thousands of leaving Islam then there are thousands of those people in western countries who are accepting Islam to the extent that they are willing to fight for Muslim causes.

The same belief can make a Muslim say a Sunni Muslim put on a suicide belt and blow up a Mosque because it is a Shia Mosque. A Shia will do the same to a Sunni Mosque. Honestly if the whole world became Muslim tomorrow, Islam will still remain a religion of violence and terrorism because one sect of Muslim will kill another sect of Muslim in an endless cycle of violence.

That's why I support separation of religion from state.I want to show my Muslims fellow that we can be equally proud of being Muslims and on the same time we should adopt modern ideas like equality of humans etc separation of religion from constitution.

Bro that is ur personal opinion about me.I don't see any hypocrisy in this.I call it loyalty.I would stay to my Muslim identity because I'm born to a Muslim family and I have a great sense of belonging to Muslim community.I won't betray my community when there is a hard time for Muslims in today's world. I have mention before about great writer Khushwant Singh who was an Atheist yet he was proud of his Sikh heritage.He had no faith in God yet he wear 5 K's.It shows that you can stay loyal to your community even if you don't believe in its religious scriptures.
