Sikh/punjabi Athleticism And Physical Prowess

Recommended Posts

Former wrestler Dwayne Johnson has Samoan roots as you know, and they've always been physically impressive from that part of the world.

I asked one Maori guy how he got so big and he claimed Maoris and all Pacific Islanders consume rhubarb leaves which is high in protein. Maybe we should introduce this food in our diet?

Never heard of rhubarb leaves being used as such a high source of protein. I think it might be worth a try. Also, they must surely consume vast amounts of fish, what with them living next to the sea.

I searched the net and apparently it is toxic and poisonous. Please don't consume the leaves. I think I may have been had. Maybe he meant the stalks?

It seemed a bit strange when you suggested it originally, but I assumed it was probably a Maori thing they ate. I'd sort your mate out if I were you, lol.

I was working at a bar and he was a bouncer contracted to work during big games. A couple of things about NZ. They really love their rugby. It's almost religious. Great place if you love the outdoors.

I hear it's wonderful from a couple of friends who've moved there with their families. Not sure how long it'll remain that way if it follows the immigration policies of Australia.

I visited there for about three weeks in 1996 , superb place , diverse landscapes and the Maoris well what I can say? that they reminded me of my brothers , the sense of humor, leg-pulling, clean humour, strict code of roles in family but in clan much respect for elders and wisdom of their ancestors , they hold their clan meetings in a building which respresents the legends of their kith and kin with heavily carved posts representing these stories and ancestors. The actual building is like being inside the body of a human the posts being the ribs , the clan take off their shoes before entering as it is a sacred space (funny thing is I had my shoes off before they told me about it) . The greeting is to touch your third eye area against the other person's and share a breath whilst holding the right hand of the person this is to connect with the atma/'Manna' of the other. They have a belief system which is spiritual but different from what we know.

Very keen warriors strong and fast: the tattoos on the faces are a religious rite and represent victories of their warrior lives , the chieftain daughters also have facial tattoos on chin and lips these signify status in clan.
