I expect to see similar "academic studies" pop up in a few years about closeted Khalsa Sikhs back in the 17th and 18th centuries. Madness.

They already are, i watched a talk where the Sikh "historian" says that M.Ranjit Singh possibly was bisexual, the talk was with a gay Sikh.  

Sad but i think historical Sikhs that chose to remain unmarried will be the first ones attacked.

Its been a Western trend for a while where they paint historical figures as Gays and Bisexuals, they been doing it for a while, the Gay community are also pushing this very fiercely as well.
