This singh is from Fiji

Just saying

https://hif.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijay_Singh_(Golfer)

An Indo-Fijian following Hindu religion, Singh was born in Lautoka, Fiji and grew up in Nadi. A resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, he is known for his meticulous preparation, often staying at the range hours before and after his tournament rounds, working on his game.

Not saying sikhs can do no wrong though, only recent cases show this

Just saying that singh can be of different religion. Hope you understand

Neither you nor him live in Fiji, where 60% of the 'Singhs' are Hindu descendants of indentured labourers.

Neither you nor him live in Trinidad or Guyana where Singh is one of the most common surnames and 99.9% of them are Hindu.

Neither you nor him live in Rajhastan, where 80% of the 'Singhs' are Hindu.

Neither you nor him live in India, where the majority of the 'Singhs' are Hindu.

Both you and him live in England, where 90% of the 'Singhs' are Sikh.

It really is amazing how around the world some of you are prepared to go in desperation.

Now, it could well turn out that this man is a Hindu. That is entirely possible. But until and unless that is either confirmed or ruled out we have to be mature enough to admit that the evidence so far points to him being one of our own.

The way some people are taking on here they want him to be sikh. Don't at all agree with mister singh poster, there's no city or village names, just look at the names of the Panj pyar

Someone suggested put his family members names on to show what he is, though that's the most solid proof, but his family members haven't done anything so why should they be highlighted?

There's a fair number of urban Sikhs who live in Punjab that name their offspring with Hindu-sounding names. Pooja, Vikram, Vinay, Poonam, Jaya, these are all names that Sikhs have begun to give to their kids. I've yet to met a pendu (I don't use that term pejoratively BTW) who wanders too far from the realms of the jeets, preets, etc. Yeah, they name their kids with weird names some of them, but not Hindu type names, not in my experience.
