Gurbani came direct from Waheguru, equality cannot be questioned where Gods name is the highest.

If today you write something that preaches the love of god is the true path to Vaheguru, would it be equal to Gurbani and it can be worshipped like Gurbani?

some religions have SOME of the elements of truth compared to others, whereas gurbani has ALL of the truth! Remember our texts r the only ones that were written by the gurus/prophets of that religion. All religions prophets were given the same message by god (uncut hair, meditate on gods name, do good deeds, reincarnation, be shastardhari etc), yet only some relgiions believe in some of these things, whereas sikhi belivies in all of it.

Your question is "Is Gurbani Equal To Other Religious Texts", u shud change it to, "Are Other Religious Texts equal to gurbani?"

The answer to both questions is NO! Gurbani comes straight from guru, therefore nothing is equal to it!

We don't worship Gurbani. We recite Gurbani, we contemplate Gurbani and then we take it on board and that allows us to get closer to god. By your logic no other person until after Guru Sahib revealed Gurbani has ever reached Mukhti.

You shouldn't restrict Gurbani to only Sikhism. Our founders were critical to some of the practices of the religion, but they never once called them false paths to god.
