99% of the 'Sikhs' who have a wedding in Gurdwara have no clue about Sikhi, so if a person of non-sikh faith, wants to, why does it matter as they are atheists like those so called Sikhs. If anything that out of faith might actually adopt the Sikh religion. That's restricting.

I think the reason is that ignorant Sikhs for all their lack of knowledge by in large will still hold Maharaj Ji in the utmost esteem. A non-Sikh whether they are theist or atheist will not.

Well this is picking & choosing.

This kind off attitude to disallow AK in Gurdwara will drive a fair few people who are going to marry out of faith away. Oh well...
