Here is a suggestion

Create a world Sikh organization group. Seek donations from Sikhs all over the world. Use the funds to help those in Punjab. The help can be in the form of welfare for poor families, some kind of credit for having a child, hospitals, universities, technical colleges, buy up land and create corporate farming....etc, etc. Make Punjab a great place to live. That way they will stay.

If each and every Sikh around the world donated USD 50 bucks a month, that would be a very huge amount.

Does that mean we don't need a Sikh homeland, because we can be successful wherever we emigrate to? If everyone keeps emigrating the powers that be will soon begin to ask, "Who exactly will populate this Sikh homeland that you people are clamouring to obtain?" But I suspect that was the plan all along. Make life difficult for Sikhs in Panjab so that they're compelled to seek fresh pastures, gradually whittling down our numbers making us a minority so that so we're easier to control.

Punjab used to include a lot more than today.

Its sad that our population seems to be not growing as much back home in panjab. A complete contrast to pre-partition panjab, where frm 1920s-1940's, we had the highest number of converts, highest birth rate and therefore highest growing population than muslims, hindus n others. But since then, we have to remember we have had 2 massive genocides, of 300k killed by panjabi muslims and 250k sikhs killed frm 1977-95. I remember hearing/reading a statement frm a hindu politican, i believe it was swami subramanian, who was a good friend of sant jarnail singhs. He stated, had sant ji been around 2day doin parchar like they did, the WHOLE of e.panjab and roughly 80% of haryana would be sikhs 2day.

Also 'sikh kosh', where did u get those stats of tarn taran n jalandhar frm? Could u post more of the percentages of sikhs in other panjab cities/towns etc.
