Muslim outfits on Monday objected New Delhi Municipal Council’s (NDMC) decision to rename Aurangzeb Road after late President A P J Abdul Kalam, terming it as a “deliberate” move that is “likely to set the trend of rechristening other cities/streets distorting history”.

The entire area shud b bloody renamed for cryin out loud. I mean name it hind chadr/dharam chadr rd? Guru tegh bahadur rd etc. His sacrifice, is so unappreciated its pathetic! Names like safdarjung n aurangzeb, shows u how weak these dhaal/chehvra hindus r.

You raise a good point. These Hindus have effectively whitewashed the Sikh people out of the history of the Indian subcontinent.

Our guru saved the Brahmins, and the Brahmins treat us like dirt. We protected their culture.

Exactly, that and more. What about the fact that Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the only Hindustani ruler ever to secure the Khyber Pass and end the centuries old cycle of Hindus getting ravished by Muslim marauders? Or the fact that 77% of those sent to the gallows and 81% of those imprisoned for life in the name of Indian independence were derived from 1.5% of the total Indian population?

These were momentous details in the story of India for God's sake, and yet you'll never find them mentioned in any of the history books. If they are mentioned, they are treated almost as footnotes, whilst the uselessness of Gandhi, the Rani of Jhansi and the Sepoy mutineers who murdered women and children is trumpeted to the heavens by those miserable liars.

I think its clear that the Hindu elders wish their youngsters to forget about all the sacrifices our forebears made on their behalf so that the next attempt at mass genocide against the Sikhs goes completely unopposed. These people mean us harm.

What does this tell you about the Hindu mindset?

The call to rename Aurangzeb Road actually came from a Pakistan born Tarek Fatah (Muslim background) who thought it was absurd to name a road in India after a tyrant and fanatic. He suggested the road to be renamed after Dara Shikoh (Auranga's brothers). When APJ Abdul Kalam died, the BJP got the road renamed after Kalam.
