the ways things are going they will leave every sikh confused on when to celebrate any of our big dates ... there have been reports of people turning up and picking old saroops without explaining where they are going to.

All hands to the task of:

preserving and making sure all others faiths know ALL of our important dates not just three days . Hindu's are busy writing Guru Teg Bahadur out of history and the sikh raj ,we need to advertise our contributions to WORLD HISTORY

preserving our itihaasic gurdwarey correctly and sympathetically and prevent them from being demolished and replaced with cookie cutter marble monstrosties, removing the character and individuality of the Panth's Dharamshalas.

reviving calligraphic pothian and Bir Sahib only and discarding print ones altogether , projects involving local sangat learning and writing bani to be given to others so 1. can track bani 2. value is felt by families receiving/giving (these days there is too much 'get rid of old one and replace with print) 3. Removing padd chedd Granths where incorrectly placed keeps us in line with panthic decision that only larivaar saroops should be installed. 4. most of all sewa of this kind blesses us with higher avasta.

This may be evil thinking on my part but I have noticed all the Saroops that have come to harm have been Padd chedd prints not puratan birs which are all larivaar ...I would be interested to know if the Saroop in hurricane Katrina which floated on the surface of water with its palki Sahib was larivaar saroop . Maybe this is Guru ji giving us the opportunity to shut down printing and pay attention to the status of current installations in India.
