The police aren't going to put cameras up. The committees and sangat of the pinds gurdwaras should do it to protect the gurdwaras. I'm not sure how the camera system works there, is it same as here?

yep it's not the dark ages they are tech savvy but it should not be the case that put the camera on and that's it the local sangat should feel their responsibilties too by spending time there and setting rotas for guarding and different events during day example free checkups, skills classes, santhiya, even gatka so that the dharamshala becomes the centre of sikh life again not just an afterthought. We don't need huge buildings just well loved, buzzing and looked after sangat .
