Will repeat the post I posted on the other thread

=============

Just saw that and oh dear another face in palm moment he totally ruined the sikh image by clashing with presenter and issuing a protest at the end when they had finished the topic on the issue.

I agree he wasn't given a chance to air his views the 4 non-sikhs guests there were hostile and keen to bash the Sikh protestors but jagmeet should have remained slient and retained his composure rather than giving a negative impression of turbanned Sikhs that jagmeet has now left many viewers.

The BBC deliberately choses Sikhs like non-british born jagmeet who may have the passion for the cause but have low IQ's and understanding how the white british pro-atheist pro-feminist pro-gay and pro christian / jewish media works to air their views because they want to give the narrative that only m0ronic thugs are protesting.

Kudos to anyone willing to raise their head above the parapets, but you're right, he was done up like a kipper.

Completely out of touch. We enter such situations thinking it'll be a level playing field, but I seriously doubt our elders are even aware of the things going on in the wider western world. It's through that prism of modern existence which encompasses all facets of life (not just the issue being discussed) that all our experiences and views will be filtered and dessiminated to the general public. Nothing will happen on OUR terms, yet that's exactly what our oblivious spokes-people assume will occur.

As Ranjeet Singh said earlier, play the game and cause cognitive dissonance. But you've got to know the rules of the game before the game can be played. Our lot aren't even aware that the game actually exists, lol.

Yeah I do respect jagmeets sentiments for expressing his protest at the killing of the 2 sikh protestors by indian state not covered by the bbc news media outlets.

However there is such a thing as tact and he misread and mis-analised the overt and covert anti-sikh bias and hostiality the panelists were showing towards the Sikhs against inter-faith genocide of Sikhs marriages. It was so obvious the BBC agenda against Sikh protestors thats why the video's are now going viral all over the internet and the BBC and panelists will be exposed now for all to see.

Like I said before, if we are going to have the quom represented on the media you need media training.

You need to understand the media and how they operate.

There needs to better Sikh Analysts:

The BBC/Guardian/Independent/Channel4/Huffington Post all follow a particular kind of ideology, it is so obvious that you can tell how they report a news item before they are going to do it.

They claim to be liberal, but actually they are quite rigid and authoritarian.

It is the rigidity that is their weakness.

why was the musilmani girl sayings its ok for her to marry a non muslim now , as its hard to find a partner. I thought she woulda backed jagmeet up. As for the presenter she was rude she should have said respected how passionate he was. Plus she didnt let him finish his point about the anand karaj. U can kiss sikhi in the Uk bye as that did not help at all.

Also what about anita kapoor, shes not even sikh. Why is she so hostile why doesnt she refer to guruji properli. Im geting so angry day by day on how we are being treated.

And our shortcomings is that we do not as a kaum expose these liberal anti-sikh articles and invidivuals in the media. We do not critically analise the wordings in articles and the mannorism that presenters take, you can tell alot by body language of how much sympathy they show towards guests and how much overt or covert bias they are showing.

Take todays show this morning on the BBC you can see the overt feminist atheist overtones come across from sian williams (the presenter) when Jagmeet was trying to convey his points he was not allowed to give his point of view across he was interrupted by the kapoor woman who claimed to be a Sikh yet is sleeping around with non-sikhs cos tahts part of Sikhism now right? lol and jagmeet was outright dismissed and then he went on a tangent because he got out smarted by the well versed media savy liberal atheist anti-sikh racist elite.

Well said. That muslim journalist woman who was on the show is highly protective of Islam just read her articles online she is a fundamentalist moslem. And your right she did admit in her religion her mum told her to find a nice muslim boy and that is what she was trying to do. Why didnt the women guests pick up on her about that islamic agenda of only marring a muslim? She then goes on that now she in her 30s she would be happy just to find anyone, but here she is showing signs of al-taqiyaa (deciect) because she still will only be allowed to marry a muslim under islamic law so legally her marriage wotn be recognised if she chose a non-muslim partner who didnt convert.

Muslims are very media savy because they had years of hostility (rightly so) cos their faith is so hostile to non-muslims but they have learnt how to be sly, promote islam by propaganda and play the media game to come across different to non-muslims to what they really think when they around fellow muslims.

The Sikhs in generally are still living in village mentality thinking everyone will understand our point of view cos we tend do to so much good in society and we dont need to play the game. But that is wrong the atheists, hindu indian nationalists and the abrahmic cultists will try to bash their non-adherant opposition at any oppertunity they can get as we saw in todays show.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
