BIG UP JAGMEET SINGH! Any of u who criticse wat he did in regards to interruptin that gori n sayin about sikh situation back home can kiss my behind! Afta 70k signatures, STILL no media mention, its pathetic! The man is a legend, n far from a facepalm moment, its a great moment. Just look at the reaction from sikhs/non-sikhs alike online, theyre all loving this live tv moment and agree with jagmeet! Brilliant! We have to expose the h@rami institutions like the bbc, who have anti sikh agendas. Oh and that anita kapoor.....who the heck keeps invitin this b!tch on to these shows, n allow herself to call herself a sikh on tv, wens she a gangu?

I will be the first to admit that I was one of the first to think Jagmeet has got this one badly wrong regarding the anand karaj issue at hand when he got shut down by sian williams so rudely but seeing the reaction from huge numbers of twitter and social media users supporting the Sikh cause in Punjab it seems he actually has turned this around to expose the BBC and white western media's silence over india's shameful human rights treatment of Sikhs and other religious minorities.

So I can only congratulate him on his guerilla style of protesting.

its not about playing the game, and scoring a few points from rapidly diminishing white middle class.People are being killed. The BBC do not want to upset MODI and Co and lose business contract. This topic was orchestrated by Tommy Sandhu, hoping for a quick buck by embarrasing his own community. But it all backfired Tv producers hate religious controversey

Yeah i think what he did was pretty brave on live TV just like the guerilla style tactics emilie pankhust the famous suffragette english women rights activist had to jump in front of the kings horse to highlight the plight of women's treatment this Sikh brother has risked ridicule to highlight the important issue of attack on the Punjabi Sikh lives and religion in the Indian state since 1947 to this day.

BBC or any other western media channel is never gonna expose Indian torture of Sikhs in India and Punjab by either the Punjab Govt. or Indian Govt. The Indian Govt. currently ruling is well supported by the British Parliament, British Crown and it is in best interests of British to keep the current Indian regime united under so called corrupt Indian rulers, as they very well know they can bribe those corrupt Indian rulers to take back administration of complete India in one go and re-establish the British monarchy rule in India.

However, if Sikh genocide is exposed, British involvement in Sikh genocide is exposed, right UN investigation is carried out - this might result in establishment of Khalistan - successor to Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Khalsa Sarkaar which was the biggest roadblock for the British before British were able to fully conquer whole of India.

No way, British Parliament, British Monarch or British media will support any Sikh protests or even broadcast any genocide or atrocities of Indian/Punjab Govt. on peaceful demonstrations by peaceful Sikh organisations in Punjab/India.

We need to understand the long-term International politics around all this.

Why Margaret Thatcher sent intelligence to India (Amritsar) to aid Indian Govt. attacking Sri Darbaar Sahib. Where has that inquiry gone? Was BBC reporting during 1984 unbiased - we all know what sort of reporting Mark Tully did.

We need to get our cards correct and start thinking how international politics work and how Jews keep BBC and other such organisations at their finger tips. Do we think BBC/Western World or Christian's/Pope/Church is a friend of Jews? After all, Jews were responsible for persecuting Jesus Christ?

I think rather than any white-brown-black racial aspect over here, it is more what are British interests in terms of economical and political aspects. If these people have a profit of even £10 covering Sikh news or presenting Sikh news in the right perspective, these people will do so; else otherwise. At this minute in time, British media and British politics don't see any political or economic advantage in presenting any atrocities on Sikhs in India.

However they see this as a danger on creation of Khalistan as they don't want Khalsa Sarkaar back.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
