True, it's the ones you least expect. I know of some middle and high class people that do it. They see nothing wrong in it, see it as a stress reliever unfortunately. One cousin used to get very angry, it's not as if he's got any problems. Gods given him everything, but still the need for drugs and the like makes me wonder why he turns to them.

There are people that get addicted through some problems they may have due to certain situations they are in but for some people, like one of my cousins, a normal fulfilling life isn't enough that they need extras for a buzz. And they don't seem to understand how lucky they are compared to others. Lack of gratefulness is what causes one to not appreciate and respect what one has. One should keep reminding themselves everything is God given and thank them for it.

I would most definitely recommend attending the Midland Langar Seva evenings. I personally know a few of the sevadaar who do a lot of work with the youth. If you wish, I could ask for details of the next seva day for you and mention you wish to come along?
