it is not just their beards a lot have cut hair as well just the uniform rules are if you want to keep even stubble you have to wear a turban

To my knowledge, most pagh wearing officers are monas. They wear paghs because it is a part of their uniform. I have met a few officers that cut their hair but still wear paghs when on duty. I'm not sure if this is the case for all officers, but I;m assuming that this is the case with most.

we should protest to change uniform rules that ONLY amritdhari sikhs should wear dastars in police and army ...as it is often stated by my foreign colleagues that it is sikh on sikh violence . This would mean that sikhs would either choose Guru ji's amrit or maya totally and go mona fully
