Once Punjabi ladies have had their way with Saag, it's safe to say all nutritional value is close to zero. Sure, it tastes great, but once it's been boiled and then sautéed to death, it's not going to

Try and avoid or keep supplements to a minimum. Whole foods is the way to go in general. Protein shakes are very helpful and easy, a couple shakes a day times after some rigorous training can help

loads of phytoestrogens which leads to higher androgen prduction in girls and dhardis ...in guys the dreaded moobs...neither good

if you have a fan oven I would suggest cutting down time drastically otherwise it's like eating wood...I usually do them for ten minutes and they are good , most of the excessive fat gets shed but the moisture is still all there. Usually add to pasta sauce that I have been creating on the hob while they are doing their thing in the oven. mushroom and sausage stroganoff is popular in our house .

Thanks for that. Tried cooking them for 10 minutes exactly and they came out 100 x better.

I checked some Bistro chicken gravy and it didn't seem to have any actual meat in it (going by ingredient list). Would you veges use it?

The fan ovens, slightly over and it's all messed up. Tell me about it, the amount of times I've burnt the dinner lol.

There's a Bisto onion gravy too. The normal one doesn't seem to have any meat in it, I use the normal one as the ingredients don't say non veg. But it does have some E numbers if you are avoiding them. There's a vegetable one too.

Check out the ingredients of each one:

Try the Quinoa and tell me about, then I'll try it lol.

Unfortunately, I'll be sticking to my normal stuff. I can't be eating Quorn, even if it is now eggless.

I was looking for some wholewheat noodles for a healthy stir fry a few days ago, and I thought I'd struck gold, but it turns out they had egg in them. Why would they do that paagalpuna? Nobody puts egg in wholewheat pasta so why do it for noodles.

I don't like the taste of Quorn, going to have to masquerade it with lots of ingredients.

These are not whole wheat but just tasty. Try these and you will get totally addicted. Stir fry some frozen vegs in oil first. Add some mixed herbs. (I have not tried tofu but you can as it is a high protein food) Prepare these noodles in another saucepan. Add the noodles to the cooked vegs. (to make it slightly unhealthy you can add chips - just fry and add to the mix. Reheat in a medium grill and you will get a crunchy meal if you like crunch. You may top with cheese and add in the grill - if you like cheese as it is a protein source too.
