I'll answer that question later in response to Ranjeet's question elsewhere. But what I'm imagining is the very antithesis of this. It's good that you are conscious of these things btw.

Thing is if you have a sikh attitude you will be the best neighbour/friend/coworker /boss to have because you would be respond at a highly inclusive level seeing the human not the skin, culture, faith /lack of faith and be a responsible caring human ...

Nah, way too many people ignore subtle racism in the workplace in England, even when it is rampant . Racism also plays a big part in determining promotions and stuff in many jobs here. Plus, we can also easily find ourselves in neighborhoods with closet nazis, pedos or fundamentalists under our nose (remember the BNP member list that was leaked a few years ago? I was shocked at how many people on it came from areas you'd least expect)

I'm all for the maximum level of self sufficiency we can achieve. These ideas aren't for every Sikh, just some brothers and sisters who share a certain outlook and perspective outside of the norm. Think of it as a pipe dream. Only certain types would want to move into this Lohgarh, others (like those you alluded to earlier), wouldn't be welcome.

huh ...since when have I said literally build a fort , it was a metaphor for strong sikhi in EACH household with cooperation between households of like minds...guess that just went WHOOSH over the top ...our strength is in behaving like a brain the collective contain the shared memories but each section can replicate that memory if another gets damaged

I'm baffled by how you think I was talking about literally building a fort?? I think the thing went WHOOOSH over your head. I was using the concept of Lohgarh to suggest a strong metaphoric fort.

We have waited a long time for someone to say what he did, so full marks to him, if this his attitude I hope he becomes the next president of the USA. Two clowns Cameron and Boris Johnson both condemed the remarks. Let's send blue eyed blonde haired females, related to those two to brick lane, or Whitechapel or some other London dump, then let's see what they say bout Donald Trumph's remarks

In the same sense let's send you down to the south, redneck valley and see how much Trump speaks up for you after they slaughter you like a pig! Are you willing to risk your life for Trump's platform, which you claim is "taking care of business"?

Trump's supporters are racist entitled white people, who blame all their problems on the minority class. These entitled white folks refuse to do manual labor jobs, unless it's a government job because their brother Joe is the manager and will let him sit on his hands for 8 hours, while the Mexican subcontracted employee does the job at minimum wage. The Mexican who is providing for his family is the problem, not the white entitled person who is on social assistance because he is upset for having a black president.

On the media Prime Ministers and Presidents are politically correct, but behind closed doors the real them comes out. If Trump is barking off like a wild dog on stage, I don't want to know what he is saying behind closed doors about the minorities. The same applies to others, but they are more down to earth compared to Trump. Trump doesn't care about Sikhs or anyone else. Trump is only trying to get into office to scratch one more item off his bucket list before he dies.
