I personally wouldn't throw that comparison around myself.

It sort of (inadvertently) diminishes the outright evil Poohla personally did.

He caused a lot of death and abused a lot of people.

Niddar hasn't gone that low as far as I am aware.

Niddar is no angel. And it doesn't diminish anything about him. For those of us who were aware of Niddars activities since the start he fits perfectly into these badnaam anti Sikh names. He says he will train rss and exactly who will rss use these new found fighting skills against? Us and other minorities. Rss are basically the Nazis of India who are only good for killing Muslim civilians but are too scared to face armed Muslims in Kashmir where they know they would be turned into keema (mince meat)

But are the RSS really a threat to Panjabis?

Actually maybe now, given that our lot have flabbed out and don't train or are skinny and drug raddled, maybe.

But raw talk, most of them RSS types wouldn't dare mess with a strong Panjabi.

It's our lot who have weakened themselves through laziness and bad habits.

Ideologically yes they are our enemies. Physically I have no doubt they cannot match the Sikhs in a fight. That's why they are trying to recuite Sikhs. Last year they made it clear that they want to recuite in villages of Punjab and that is where Sikh population mostly resides. Once they have a good number of Sikhs in their ranks, who will no doubt be used against Panthic Sikhs and of course their favourite enemy the Muslims.

Therein lies the issue, the physical fitness and sipahi lifestyle is all but lost amongst Sikhs today.

Even amritdharees, Akal purakh di fauj the majority of these guys are overweight, physically unfit , have zero martial knowledge and carry blunt kirpans.

A big overhaul is needed. That's why you see a few fat Punjab police officers easily beat the crap out of 100 punjabis with just lathis.

What about Hindu Punjabies are they any good at fighting?

Not really.

Hindu Punjabis, Muslim Punjabis and Sikh Punjabis are physically very similar, but the Hindus (Punjabi and otherwise) were always considered to be conspicuously ill-suited to war. Not because they were necessarily physically weaker, but because they were cravens. The Sikh religion and the history of our faith were what made the Sikhs of old some of the best fighters in the Indian subcontinent. In the heat of battle, the Sikh soldier could invoke the militancy of his faith and tales of shaheeds and warriors beyond counting to find his bravery. It's simply the case that certain religions compliment the art of soldiery better than others - Islam being another example. What does the Hindu itihaas have that can compare to our own, that can inspire zeal? The paragons of Sikh history are men like Baba Deep Singh, Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Banda Singh Bahadur - noble warriors all. The heroes of the Hindu world are idols of weakness, like Gandhi. How much valour could the Hindu saga of defeat after submission after defeat inspire in the average Hindu soldier?

This isn't to say Hindus are incapable of being great warriors. But it is inconceivable to me that their religion could ever be the source of their strength, as is the case with the average Sikh sipahi.

No.

Hindu Punjabis, Muslim Punjabis and Sikh Punjabis are physically very similar. But the Hindu Punjabis, unlike the Punjabis of those two other faiths, were always considered to be conspicuously ill-suited for war. Not because they were necessarily physically weaker, but because they were cravens. The Sikh and Muslim religions were the true strength of the soldiers who adhered to them, their bravery and zeal drew upon the militancy of their faiths. It's simply the case that certain religions compliment the art of soldiery better than others. The Hindu religion and Hindu history simply do not inspire valour.

there's a saying it is not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog that decides the victor...remember Bhai Bachittar SIngh ji has was short for a guy 5 foot 7...and he managed himself against the war elephant with Guru ji's thappi ...same with Mahant Kirpal Das totally inexperienced at warfare , causing much merriment amongst the Khalsa fauj was given thappi of Guru ji and he killed Hayat Khan with his mace... It is a state of mind that makes the warrior
